Jennifer ‘Rhythm’ Reyes was born on May 18th, 1995 in the island territory of San Juan Puerto Rico to Dominic ‘Demolicion’ Reyes and Mariana ‘Atabay’ Esparza, two loving parents who also happened to be meta-humans in their own respects, gifted natural abilities that they would use to help protect the world not only from the actions of others but the consequential forces of nature itself.
Dominic, a wealthy immigrant from Barcelona capable of storing charged kinetic energy in his body and using it to EXPLOSIVE results, creating impact forces powerful enough to reduce small towns to nothing but a crater of destruction at his full potential.
Dominic, also being capable of taking the potential energy stored in an object and converting it to kinetic energy thus "charging" that item no matter how insignificant in size with explosive potential.
Mariana, a native to the isle of puerto rico gifted with the power of meteorokinesis, the ability to channel, shape, create and manipulate the weather, i.e. the meteorological phenomena. Granting her an innate connection to the Earth's atmosphere, enabling her to shape and influence various weather patterns on both small and large scales. She can sense changes in air pressure, temperature, humidity, and other meteorological parameters, granting her an almost instinctive understanding of impending weather changes.
Dominic utilizing his powers to help battle the crime raging in the local barrio’s where as Mariana an avid environmentalist, would help stem the tide of tropical storms and hurricanes that have plagued the island since it’s very formation, assisting her then husband in opening various community centers. The Duo teaming up on numerous occasions to host fundraisers for the impoverished and disadvantaged not just in Puerto Rico but across the Caribbean all while raising young Jennifer who had not yet shown signs of any abnormal abilities herself.
Dominic going as far as to open a boxing gym dedicated to the youth of san juan hoping to steer them away from the temptations of street gangs, drugs and violence to instead instill them with a sense of determination and drive them forward toward more positive influences, a place he himself still personally oversees to this very day and a place his growing daughter would frequent constantly in the coming years.
