Creator's Notes

I created this character as my first toon in Champions Online. She went through many iterations, starting off as a Blade (I started off as a Silver account), and eventually changing to a freeform. She went through many variations on the character. She was a Darkness toon, a Grimoire, and several others. Eventually, before her current setup, she was a Melee tank, using Dual Blades, Invulnerability, Devour Essence, and Epidemic.

However, she changed during the last CLASH event, that was going on between PRIMUS and UNTIL, and in unlocking her true potential, she is a PvP-oriented character now, using a combination of moves. She is not top-tier, nor even middle-tier in the PvP circuit.

About

The superhero Becca was born Rebecca Congrejo on February 14, 1985 to Michael and Sylvia Congrejo in Los Angeles, CA. A happy, cheerful, go-lucky daughter, she lived until the age of 13 in what was relatively a peaceful and happy childhood. Yet, this peaceful existence was not meant to last for long.

When she was 13, her father worked for Advanced Research Group Enterprises on Monster Island. He had taken his daughter and wife there on what was ostensibly a vacation for them, while he worked on an advanced toxic chemical purifier, referred to as Project PURIFY. Becca was exploring the edges of the preserve when a sudden explosion rocked the building. She ran back to the site, only to find her parents dead in the explosion, and a large green toxic cloud that had apparently killed them, released by the explosion. She ran into the cloud, hoping to save her family, but passed out when she was enveloped in the green haze.

She awoke in an ARGENT laboratory, secured to a table. The toxic cloud that had killed her parents apparently did not kill her, but had mutated her, giving her the ability to emit a large toxic cloud, deadly to her foes, and to absorb the very lifeforce from others, using this same toxic energy.

Their plan was to train Rebecca to become an assassin for them, killing their enemies as necessary. She had become part of Project: Death Cloud.

Life as an ARGENT Agent

She was trained in a deadly form of Martial Arts using twin swords. She mastered her powers, and even exceeded her handler's expectations. What they did not know was she was storing up all the knowledge she had to eventually escape their clutches.

To hide her identity, she fashioned a set of black and red power armor to conceal her face, believing that the evils she had wrought were etched on her face, and sought to hide them from everybody, even herself.

She was dispatched on several missions, all of which were classified. She was responsible for many assassinations of personages who were interfering with ARGENT's plans, and helped them maintain their power. She was a well-trusted agent, and they thought she was completely within their power. They were wrong....

In 2007, she used what they had taught her to assassinate her handler, his guard, lay waste to most of the Hudson City compound, and escape ARGENT's grasp forever, leaving behind a trail of bodies. To this day, her file with ARGENT is classified, and she is considered their number 1 elimination priority.

Redemption and Vow of Service, from Villain to Superheroine

After she escaped from ARGENT, she spent a year wandering around the world. Sometimes doing good, but more often doing evil by accident. While her identity wasn't known, there were enough descriptions of her. Tired, and world-weary, she came to Millennium City. While attempting to break into the local ARGENT facility, she was apprehended by Fiera and Millennium Bug, two super-heroes who watched over Millennium City. She fought desperately, but their combined might took her down.

Yet, they discovered that behind the mirror-plated helmet, there was a wounded, scared woman. Believing that there was hope for her, instead of taking her to prison, where she no doubt would have been placed in Stronghold, in Hot-Sleep, they took her back to their apartment, and nurtured her back to health.

She wrestled with horrible nightmares during this time, not feeling herself worthy of such kindness or redemption. Yet, their continual kindness broke away the shell she had crafted around herself, and helped the kind, loving, devoted girl underneath to come forth. Realizing what wonderful women they were, she was touched, and a part of herself that had been almost killed by ARGENT came back to life. She swore to serve them as their pet. To belong to them, and hold them above all others.

She called them both Mistress, with Fiera's true name being Jules, and Millennium Bug's true name being Tania. She served them loyally and faithfully, in all ways. Yet, she saw the damage they were taking when they were out facing villains, especially when she was tending to them upon their arrival back home. Knowing what she had to do, she pulled her armor out of storage, shined it up, and joined her Mistresses in being super-heroines.
