Barbara, in costume, is your standard, confident superheroine. Out-of-costume, she's quite the opposite. A quiet, mild-mannered woman with no faith in her own skills. Sometimes this side of her shows through when she's in-costume, but very rarely when she's on-duty. She's managed to attain a job she enjoys, and she's glad for that.
All of Barbara's abilities are based in her natural psionic ability. Most often, she uses Tactile Psychokinesis to attain feats of strength that are otherwise impossible for a human. Otherwise, she uses a more basic form of Telepathy to communicate, gather information, and other such things. She uses her abilities responsibly and ethically, however. Never with the intent to kill, and very rarely with the intent to harm others. She uses her telepathy very rarely.
