Minerva is a crime fighter who works for UNTIL as freelance agent. She gained her powers in the project “Outsider Help”.
In spite of her mask she does not have dual identities, she resigned to her previous identity becoming Minerva full time. This is why it is common to see her wearing civilian clothes while using her powers.
History
4 years ago the alien organization named Galaxy Protectors considered that humanity needed their help to protect earth from external and local threats. So they recruited a group of humans to participate in the Outsider Help Project.
E472 was the recruit number 472 from Earth and is one of the loyal members who accepted to keep the powers under the tutelage of UNTIL after the Projects cancelation. While the training E472 qualified to have support force powers.
Galaxy Protectors
Galaxy Protectors is an organization formed 3000 ago by members from 3 extremely developed alien races. Their main purpose is to provide resources to planets which need help against internal and or external threats. To achieve this goal they developed the Outsider Help Project.
Outsider Help Project
The project consists on helping a planet to create a small squadron of local superheroes, this superheroes were citizens that after several physical and psychological tests were considered apt of receiving superpowers.
Every recruit received 2 sets of powers, a basic set common to everybody which consists on altering their body making it a healthy 30 year old body no matter the real age of the recruitment, this is very important to increase the number of candidates giving a chance to old people and people with physical disadvantages to participate and youngers to look more matture, they also provide conscious healing factor for fixing injuries, disease resistance and not aging. The main set of powers varies depending on their personality and choice.
After a year the project resulted in a failure, several of the participants started to use the powers in their own benefit, they left the team and worked on their own. After several studies on these members, Galaxy Protectors discovered that the technology they used to give the powers had a side effect in most humans, this side effect consisted on increasing the level of egoism and avarice of the subject. So they decided to send the loyal members to capture the corrupted ones. After several months and with the UNTIL's help, they caught every corrupted member and removed their powers. In the following years the team continue reducing due to this side effects and after 3 years only a few of the original members remained loyal. This reduction in their number convinced Galaxy Protectors to disband the team. As reward, Galaxy Protectors let these loyal members keep the powers if they work under the tutelage of UNTIL.
Present
Minerva works for UNTIL as freelance agent. She is usually criticized by other agents because she rarely do the diary patrols that agents must do. In spite of many warnings she has never been penalized. Outsider Help Ex-members also criticize her because she has worked in some commercials, posed in ads which was forbidden by Galaxy Protectors, she has not being warned or penalized for these activities because they are not against UNTIL rules.
Minerva lives in an apartment in Millennium City a few blocks away from RenCenter. In her free time she usually goes to Club Caprice for a drink and have fun.
