Pre-Birth
The White Rose (Jack Shaw Snr.)
Jack Shaw Snr. was born 12th January 1918, He joined the Army to fight against the Axis powers during World War II. Jack was nicknamed "White Rose" because he is from Yorkshire, after a couple of notable successes in battle during the war, he was deemed a war hero and was used by the Allies as a icon in it's propaganda.
During the winter of 1943 Jack was sent on special assignment with a team of Allied soldiers to investigate and takeover a research facility on the French border. When they arrived they found that the facility had been a research station on supernatural beings such as demons, were-beasts and vampires. The soldiers successfully overpowered the Axis soldiers inside the building, but hours later a unknown supernatural being or creature entered the lab and murdered all but Jack Shaw and two other soldiers.
Jack Shaw left behind the two soldiers and attempted to follow the murderous thing, after four hours of tracking it he finally came face to face with the creature who revealed himself to be a Vampire, after a lengthy but heated conversation the two of them fought with neither man leaving the victor, when the Vampire fled. Jack traveled back to the research building to find that the two soldiers left behind had began to turn into vampires themselves, even though he had become exhausted from the battle with the vampire, Jack was able to restrain the two men before they fully turned.
Jack spent the next two days finding out all he could about the vampires via the texts and materials available at the facility, in the end the only solution he come up with was to kill both soldiers as they were now vampires and could not be rescued from the brink of this damnation and destroy the remains. Before he burnt the building to the ground he took as many books and materials (such as microfilm) as he could carry and headed out in search of the vampire that got away. Jack spent the next ten years searching for the Vampire across Europe with no success, but during this time he did discover more "creatures of the night" or as he would come to call them the "Unnaturals".
The White Rose II (Jack Shaw Jr.)
In 1955 he had given up on getting his revenge and returned to England to start a new life, he arrived home to find much had changed at home but his pre-war sweetheart had stayed faithful to him after all those years. Jack gained employment as a miner, married his love Gloria and had a child named Jack Shaw Jr. on 21st July 1957. Jack Snr. decided to lock all of his "Unnatural" hunter equipment, weapons, texts and microfilm in a vault in his home.
Life was great for the Shaw family until 1972 when he arrived home to find Gloria brutally murdered and Jack Jr. missing. He found traces of Unnatural activity, he equipped himself with items from the vault and went on the hunt to find the creature responsible. Tracking the thing to an abandoned warehouse just outside Leeds he found his son chained up, with a vampire stood waiting for him to arrive. The vampire revealed himself to be the same one that killed the soldiers back in 1943. After a hard fought battle the vampire once again escaped, both Jack Snr. and Jack Jr. survived the encounter but received serious wounds that prevented them from following after the vampire. This was the last time Jack Snr. fought against any "Unnaturals" as he felt completely useless as the final battle left him with a shattered leg and it never healed well enough for him to continue hunting.
After the incident Jack Jr. learned about all the world of the Unnaturals from his father and started hunting at the age of 16, he attempted to hunt the vampire and other Unnaturals, after spending two years of searching Jack found no Unnaturals. So he joined the Army and became a highly ranked Royal Marine Commando, developing his skills so he could be prepared in case the Vampire returned. Years passed and Jack found nothing but normal men committing crime or people named Super Villains in the media, deciding to put his abilities to use he designed a protective suit in full white with red trim and took up the name of White Rose II to fight against villains, crime and injustices in the world. During this time Jack Jr. was able to separate a normal life from his crime fighting life, although this changed in 1984 when he married Rachel Horne when he found out she had become pregnant with his child, he revealed to her his family history and his secret life as crime fighter.

Birth
Vincent Shaw was born in Leeds, England on 8th March 1984. From a early age Jack Jr. decided to train his son Vincent in martial arts, weapons and introduced him to the world of the Unnaturals and how to defeat them. Because he knew how the world could be behind the darkness, Vincent became disinterested in school and spent most of his time listening to his grandfather's stories about the unnaturals. At the age of 19 Vincent took off to travel the world and learn more about the unnaturals and how to combat them. After five years of travel, he had learned many fighting styles, skills and defeated many more of the unnaturals.
Tragic Return
Arriving home after receiving a message from his grandfather stating that he feared that the Vampire had returned, Vince found that his mother and grandfather had been murdered and his father was missing. Finding a note on his grandfather's body that led him to reopen the vault, inside the vault he found that his grandfather had spent years putting together clues on where the vampire could be and he had narrowed it down to the wilderness of Canada.
