Father Connelly is Catholic Priest but he is better known for his labors at St, Joes Children's Mission, a Run Away shelter in the West Side. Father Connelly doesn't have a lot of encounters with Super types, but he is in constant conflict with the Maniacs gang given the protection he offers to the misplaced youth of Millennium City.

Father Connelly casts a stern looking gaze most of time and his gaze matches his wirey form. He is known for keeping his body healthy and strong with boxing, and his mind astute with the Times Crossword and sudoku's.

Many of the kids in the shelter see him as kind of a hard ass, but that's because he's very good at reflecting what each child needs.

While it is unlikely that he is a common associate of super heroes, his fund raising efforts may have brought him into contact with a super heroes private identity.

Word on the street is that is involved with Sting Night, a child prostitue rescue organization.
