Dagmar stood on a short ledge overlooking a horde of zombies, those who perished in the plane she brought down and the survivors unlucky enough to have survived to begin with. They were trying to break into a barrier that protected the entrance of a cave. She would however hear the crunch of snow underfoot coming from above her, that and the twin heartbeats of the living. With a glance from her side-eye, she would see two strangers hiding above her, with one scoping her down with a rifle. Using her psionics Dagmar would force the duo off their perch and come crashing down before her. The would-be heroes Maxus and Rose Daegus, cowering before her would then be "coerced" into assisting her with a task. The trio would then enter the cave after the zombies broke the barrier and after combating minor demons and zombies that had not been raised by Dagmar; they would come face to face with a lich who was tasked to guard an artifact known as the "Cube of Necrull"; the lich's employer being non-other than Caliburn, Dagmar's now estranged brother. A lengthy fight would ensue in the caverns and Dagmar would leave amid the battle clutching the cube all while causing a cave-in. Stating that these tools have served their purpose. She would however be dismayed when Rose would manage to climb out of the wreckage after Maxus released a large blast and thus creating a sizeable opening in the collapsing roof. During the interim of this, a blizzard would begin to blow causing Dagmar and later the duo to find shelter at Steelhead; here she would run into a wounded Lucius, an old friend and cambion who would often get in mischief with her. After a spat with Maxus and Rose for trying to kill them (something she completely hand-waved and brushed off), she would be "coerced" by a veteran hero by the name of Frostbyte into assisting the group with a problem with their communication relays far to the north. Upon traveling to the first relay, they were, met by another young hero who was already familiar with her new "allies". While there they dealt with ARGENT and the local wildlife, all would be relatively well, snarky comments aside, until they began to find strange eviscerated bodies of animals, UNTIL soldiers, and strangely ARGENT alike; not long after that they came across a containment area holding a few UNTIL soldiers. One, a lieutenant standing out because another one of him appeared from out of the haze of the blizzard to taunt the group before shedding its disguise and revealing its true form, and instigating an ambush that was quelled with relative ease. Their victory however was short-lived as the group had to take shelter in a bunker due to the blizzard now hitting them up north. Upon entering the cold chambers the group would be met with minute darkness and an eerie silence. This would quickly change when upon entering the antechamber preceding the main lab they were met with the sight of corpses, slain scientists, and for Dagmar the tantalizing smell of fresh blood and fresh bodies prime for harvesting. Following the grizzly sight the group was met by some scientists; survivors of an ambush beset by strange shapeshifting creatures, all wishing to be escorted to the main bunker that housed many of the soldiers and more important personnel. Dagmar however would incinerate one of the surviving scientists much to the shock of everyone in the room. Her actions would be soon justified because the now burning scientist would quickly begin to melt into a viscous puddle of black sludge before evaporating into the air. Her reasoning being the creature she just killed wore the face of a dead man she noticed when looking over the bodies as the group walked through the bunker's halls. The silence of the stunned room would however be cut when the bunker began to shake and rattle due to the forces outside. They soon rushed outside where amid the blizzard that began to bear down on them, they were met with yet another ambush by the strange creatures. after fighting off wave after wave of the things; the group would soon split in two: one continuing to investigate the remaining bunkers and the other escorting the survivors into the main bunker which was well-lit and well-guarded. Dagmar would be with the former, wanting to not be stuck "babysitting" a bunch of old people. When entering the next bunker the visceral visage would be much more upfront as it seems many lives were lost when they were trying to get to the exit, unlike the seemingly unsuspecting scientist of the first bunker. Like the previous bunker, the group would spot more survivors with Dagmar wanting to incinerate them all "just to be on the safe side" but to her annoyance, everyone said no. Lucius would enter the room shortly and separate one of the scientists saying they spotted something on the still functioning security cameras. He then contacted the main base to report the suspicious person only for Dagmar to incinerate that one as well. An argument would follow with everyone accusing Dagmar of her recklessness and her apparent lack of humanity. She would in her usual fashion ignore them and the group would press on to the final unchecked bunker. Thereafter dealing with yet another ambush, they would be met. not with the usual silence and gaggle of cadavers but instead a particularly hideous mass of pulsating blackened flesh (A sight which bemused Dagmar; she wanted to keep the thing as a pet of sorts) and a lone soldier. After looking about the bunker and torching the pile of flesh to Dagmar's dismay. It was decided by the group of would-be heroes that the soldier would also be destroyed; the fact his presence was deemed suspicious as he was the only individual in the building, let alone with a mass of pulsating, blinking flesh; and it was for the greater good. Everyone except one of the young "heroes" agreed on this saying that it was cruel and without merit. He then left the group after the deed was done and was quickly swept up in the blizzard and swarmed by the creatures leaving only fragments of his cape behind. Following this the group met back with the rest of the gang in the main bunker where they learned that these creatures are called Roin'esh and are a race of shapeshifting aliens. After taking time to rest and debrief the group would be beset by aerial fire and an invasion force of machines. Coming out to combat the invaders, Lucius and Rose would be injured in the fight causing Dagmar and Maxus to finish the ordeal and face to the commander of the sudden fleet. Mechanist a cyborg would fight the duo back with surprise assistance from Caliburn to Dagmar's surprise. After Mechanist's defeat and his ship crashing deep into a cavern (with Maxus and Dagmar still onboard) it was revealed that the Caliburn fought was actually a mere shade and that he was after the artifact that Dagmar stole from him as well as the artifact that the Roin'esh were also searching for. After a bit of rest to collect their bearings, Lucius would manifest from the duo's shadow having healed enough to continue the mission. From then on they would transverse the cavern slaying alien after alien until they reached its heart. In the heart lay the alien's ship that was quickly being activated and blasting off into space, forcing the trio to board without being able to think of any such consequences. After fighting through yet more aliens they would reach it's captain who would merge with the artifact stating they were to use it to overthrow their masters. After its defeat Dagmar would obtain the cube, with UNTIL piloting the ship back to Earth. The group would meet back up with a now-healed Rose and return to Millenium City after reporting back to Frostbyte, warning her about an escape criminal who may be gunning for her in revenge.
A few days after the events in Canada, Dagmar now in Millenium City was in the eastside magic district shopping for various reagents and books where she was met by Rose Daegus to her dismay was assigned to help put a stop to the overpour of demons that were ravaging the area (Something Dagmar completely ignored). Here Rose pursues Dagmar to assist her in this endeavor as she isn't all too familiar with magic. The duo would soon be met by a girl claiming to be the superheroine Witchcraft's apprentice; She would ask them to apprehend members of a cult called DEMON and collect these magic crystals that they have on them. After slaying a few cultists Dagmar would hold the crystals in her palm and cast a spell over them; She would identify them as the "Shards of Shining Darkness" to Rose's amazement, guessing they were used to cause mass destruction judging by their name. Dagmar would correct her saying "The baubles are made from the dark fabric of the infernal and netheric energies they are primarily used to create smaller tears as well as casting obfuscation rituals, that being said they are particularly harmless in smaller numbers, it's when they are in a large gathering that they can be of any real use"
Powers, Skills, and Attributes
Powers
Power 1 - Put info on your power here. Be as lengthy as you like.
Power 2 - Not every hero HAS powers, of course, in which case the powers section can be deleted.
Power 3 - Just take everything from the HR tag above the Skills section, up to the "Powers" sub-header, and delete it. You can also edit the Main Header to take the word 'Powers' out of it as well.
Skills
Skill 1 - Skills are the things your character has learned to do, or has an innate talent at doing.
Skill 2 - These skills can be as mundane as painting, to more fantastical things such as enchanting items.
Skill 3 - If your character has no particular skills worth noting, feel free to follow the same directions as shown for the 'Powers' sub-header on how to remove this section.
Attributes
Attribute 1 - Attributes are physical or mental traits, separate from powers in most cases, though possibly enhanced by them.
Attribute 2 - Attributes can be things such as flexibility, or being naturally acrobatic, or good eye-hand coordination perhaps.
Attribute 3 - Again, like the last two, if you have no use for it, delete this section. You can also ALTER the section if there is something missing that you would find more fitting.
Gear and Equipment
Gear
Weapon - Gear and equipment are the things your character carries around and uses. These can be things like weapons and armor.
Armor - Feel free to use this section to name and describe the gear that your character uses, if any. Be, again, as lengthy as you like.
Gadget - If this section does not apply to your character, feel free to delete it. Also feel free to add more sub-headers as they apply, such as for a vehicle, perhaps, and that vehicle's statistics.
Relationships
Lover
This section is specifically for a spouse, lover, or some other form of paramour. Feel free to use any of the formatting from 'Friends/Allies' below.
Friends/Allies
Put any friends or allies your character may have in here. You may give them descriptions or simply list them. To make a numbered list, simply place a # at the beginning of each new line:
- This guy
- That guy
- Some chick
For a non-numbered list, put an asterisk instead (the lines are optional. Simply remove the HR tags if you wish to remove them):
Or, you could even use a smaller sub-header for each person, effectively creating a small section on them, like this:
That Guy I Know
Put info on the friend here.
That Chick I Met
And here.
Some Dude at the Bar
Don't forget this one.
Enemies
Put any rivals or enemies here. You can give descriptions, or simply list them. Same idea as the Allies and Friends.
General Perception
Put here the way your character would be perceived by the general public. This means, the things that the general public would know, how the media would portray them, things people might know without ever having met the character.
