Public Record
Legate is one of the many brave souls sticking his neck out to protect the world from superpowered threats. Constantly outclassed, outgunned and outnumbered, this one man is one of the Tyrian Machine Complex's greatest assets, a fearless trooper able to put down most lower classes of metas with sheer audacity usually being the only thing to save him. Despite not showing any signs of superhuman potential, it's clear that he is more than capable of fighting it out with stronger foes with a capacity to plan ahead, adjust tactics quickly and simply gear himself properly for what lies ahead.
Strengths
Legate is strong and fast for a human being, capable of darting around the battlefield in a full suit of armor, carrying his arsenal and tough enough to survive a few hits, he relies on grit, determination and his wits to carry him through to fight another day. Notably, he makes extensive use of advanced fibers and plating to protect himself, and decent quality weapons to bring to bear. Legate's intelligence comes into play often enough that his mind could be considered more useful on the field than the firepower he so readily brings to bear.
Weaknesses
Legate's humanity is his undoing. He's not a biologically or cybernetcally augmented. He is not an alien, or a monster, he is man. He can be stabbed, shot, poisoned, suffocated, burned to death and suffers lapses of judgement like any other person. His courage borderlines on stupidity and arrogance due to a lack of ability to feel fear, this makes him occassionally do stupid things like drop one opponent without checking for his buddies, or failing to check his devices to make sure he isn't being ambushed. He's also very reliant on his gear, since he lacks much offensive capability beyond the few defensive martial arts techniques he bothered to remember, although he's quite lethal with his combat knife, which usually comes with him everywhere.
