Biography
The orphanage
Andrew Redwick was born in Manhattan.
His father, Marko Amuso, died before his birth, and Assunta Redwick, Andrew's mother, died when she gave him birth. The child has been placed in Saint's Patrick Orphanage, where he received a christian education.
Andrew was not a very good student, nor a very good Christian. He often got punished by the mother superior, and it was not uncommon to see him escape, until the age of 7, when he was adopted by his uncle, Vittorio Amuso, godfather of the Lucchese family .
The Lucchese family
Andrew grew up in violence, exposed to a very negative point of view of life. He learned how to use guns, how to kill, and how to live as a criminal, but he also was instaled with a good moral and learned the value of loyalty, wich is a very important thing for him.
Andrew came to the mafia life with ease, making is first hit at 15, and matured very quickly, enjoying a life of crime, sex and violence. As an hitman, Andrew was excellent, killing with ease any target Vittorio gave him, Andrew helped his adoptive father to become a very influent godfather in the city.
The awakening
One day before his 21st birthday, Vittorio betrayed Andrew, scared of losing his place at the head of the Lucchese family. Vittorio sent Andrew and a few guys to a fake mission, sending his nephew to a death trap. The guys with Andrew had the order One day before his 21st birthday, Vittorio betrayed Andrew, afraid that he would steal his place at the head of the family. He sent him and 8 other men to carry out a false mission, the order of the men accompanying Andrew being to kill him. Andrew understood that something was wrong, and was able to dodge the first shots, hiding where he could when midnight sounded. As the twelfth strike struck midnight, a spirit appeared before Andrew, offering him a simple contract: his body against life.
Andrew accepted, the spirit binding to him, to give him extraordinary powers: an infinite potential of destruction and creation, as long as the user remains in the shadows. Thanks to his powers, he alone killed Vittorio's men.
He began to hit the Lucchese's strengths, using his powers to act alone, and leaving no witnesses, going back to where Vittorio was hiding.
It was with the help of Miya Amano, a vigilant calling herself Dusk, that Andrew managed to penetrate the hideout of Vittorio without the latter expecting it. Andrew advanced towards Vittorio, and offered him as food for his devils, an offering to the spirit that he now hosts in him.
The Godfather
As the godfather of the Lucchese family, Andrew was exceptional. Infused with a certain sense of honor, he brought to the family the ethics and control that had always been lacking. Moreover, the family was spreading fast: with his power, Andrew was not afraid of death, and jumped directly into the sensitive points of the infrastructure of rival families, quickly taking control of the streets of New York. The result: a united organized crime network, a business that respects a better ethic, bringing a decrease in crime and violence in the city. Andrew saw a better opportunity, and understood one thing: as a hero, we can not stop the crime. As a sponsor, it can be held on a leash.
Andrew decided to expand his network outside of New York, where he arrived in Milenium City to take control of the Purple Gang. Although he weakened it in part, Andrew never managed to take the lead, because of a meeting: The Urban Legends.
The Urban Legends
Shortly after arriving in Millenium City, Andrew met the group of Urban Legends, notorious justices. Their leader, Blast Beetle, recognized Andrew, and the group stopped him without difficulty, he wasn't even defending himself. It was another vigilante who freed Andrew, Seihdr, who decided to offer him a second chance.
From then on, Andrew decided to join the group of heroes, some members helping him to have a better understanding of his powers.
And even with that udnerstanding, Andrew still hase difficulties to control it. The Urban Legends are now gone, the group splitted, and Andrew stopped tu use his power, going back to New York for one entire year before returning to Millenium City, where manifestations of his power have been spotted during April 2021.
