Categories listed on this page group characters who identify with a specific genre (sci-fi, fantasy, and so forth), era (such as the comics Silver Age or Golden Age) or style (such as steampunk, pulp, etc.). It is assumed that all characters are suited to superhero comics on some level - that is the style of the game, after all - but outside of this generalisation, you can use categories here to identify narrative, aesthetic or stylistic themes that are central to a particular character.
