Background and Origin
Once a trader and researcher of things mystic and spiritual, a delve into a tome meant to be unread stole him of his sight in his right eye, and in turn gave him eyes that saw beyond the mortal plane and into things beyond. Since that day, he has been researching and practising true magic, not just the words buried in a book. A master of illusions and travel magic, chesire in his ways. Now, much like a cat burglar with only shades of heroism about him, the now named Faeden is as his name suggests: A trickster among man, leaping about and doing what he feels like doing, with silver tongue and arcane magic behind him.
Powers, Skills, and Attributes
Powers
Aethereye - Draven's eye has been fitted to the aether, allowing him to see things ethereal and astral. It gives him a look into the deep magical ties things may have, and allows him to see magic in use. It is a great defensive skill, but not without its toll. Whenever it is used, it drains a lot of his energy over time, covering it or closing his eye are the only two ways to turn it off.
Arcana - A talented mage, focusing in illusionary magic. Able to use magic and cast spells in combat, and often in defense.
Aether Flash - Able to step out of the mortal reality for a moment, emerging elsewhere. Aether flash is an ability that puts him on the ethereal plane, safe from most harm and popping out somewhere else in an instance. Heavilly used in defence or for getting around.
Ward Tattoos - Not a man of armor, he has wards tattood in magical ink into his body, raising his defence against magical and energy themed attacks. Physical attacks still hurt.
Skills
Burglary - Draven is a thief, and that is not hidden. He is often pilfering things he can sell later, and has the Lockpicking and sneaking prowess to match.
Educated - Draven is a lover of books, and aside from his cockiness he knows a great deal. He loves to read, and he is more educated then he acts.
Attributes
Acrobatic - Reflexes, dodges, flipty-dos and good at getting around. Acrobatic in nature, and able to dodge a deal of assault.
Resistant to Mental Assaults - With his Aethereye and his runes, he is incredibly resistant to assaults on his willpower or his self-control.
