Kokoro

-::OOC::-The following is a personal report wrote by an Ex-Primus reporter and can be easily found if your character was looking into Kiara's background or public records. The report will be expanded over time and contain more information with every update so come by and check it out every now and then. ~ Intro ~

My name is Elizabeth Hunson and this is an unofficial Primus report.

The very first time I met "Kiara Kokoro" was at one of her concerts, "The March of the Damned" they call it and in this day and age sounds like some type of supernatural gathering. However, the event was simply a concert in a poorly lit club that smelled of cigarettes, booze and sweat, among other things. The concert itself was of a heavy, face past destructive kind of heavy metal with many subtle sexual allusions and the way the girl presented herself was very... well... suggestive on stage. There were many people in attendance at the event and according to fliers the event is held every saturday night at 7pm, an event that I will attend again in the near future.

During the event I couldn't help but focus on the girls performance on stage even though it was something that typically would not interest me, which leads me to believe there was more going on then I could understand at that very moment. Whatever it was that drew my attention was something I lack the proper understanding to explain in a way that makes sense but it was like some sort of stimulated curiosity I felt for the girl and I couldn't focus on anything else for the longest time. It was as if she became a subtle addiction the moment I laid eyes on her. What caused this to happen is still a mystery to me which is the fuel for my obsession with her and why I am writing this report.

~ Background ~

The following information is from public records I found after doing a bit of digging.

I spent a few days gathering information and running background checks on the girl that calls herself Kiara Kokoro and came across a lot of information that is useless as an explanation to what I felt that night. However, I am going to touch base on a lot of the information I managed to dig up on the girls past in hopes to find something hidden in her history that will atleast give me some clues.

~ Biological family ~

During my research I found out that Kiara Kokoro isn't her real name, something I had suspected since the beginning. Her real name is Zoey Laylen Murcutio and she was raised by a foster family since right after her birth, something I will write about a little later. I didn't dig deep into the history of her family but the following is just some brief information I found about her parents, I will dig deeper into her family's history in the near future as well.

-Biological Mother-

Rosalinda Murcutio is Kiara's biological mother. It was pretty hard to find information on the woman's background because it was burried deep and covered by news articles about the woman's life as a world renown financial consultant. Rose appears in several articles about her accomplishments related to the expansion and growth of private investors and small corporations, both world wide. She is known for traveling the world to consult investors and corporations on projects to optimize revenue income and to build projects to increase growth and expansion. Much of her work has been a huge success leading to her own personal wealth and fame amongst the world of business. One thing that appears several times in Rose's accomplishments, is that she plays the part of the face of a private investor named Amanda Ross who founded and owns a very successful investment agency known as Ohni Ind. Ross apparently keeps herself hidden from the public both physically and in records, however I didn't dig very deep into her background yet.

The was very little I could find on Rose's background but I did manage to find that Rose was born in London and was a honor student who graduated early with several major's, all within the field of business and finances. Right out of school Rose hooked up with a privately owned investment agency that grew rather fast and fell just as fast after the founder had been caught and convicted of embezzlement. Rose went on to work with a few investors and started to make a name for herself. Slowly as her name grew she started taking on more and more clients as a financial consultant and eventually she grew in wealth and assets enough to make it as far as she has today. According to my research, she and her assets are worth millions.

-Biological Father/Siblings-

I could not find any records of Kiara's father which leads me to believe that he might have left before Kiara was born. Kiara is also Rose's only child. However I found records stating that Kiara had a foster sister that she grew up with, which I will write more about in the section related to Kiara's foster family.

~ Foster family ~

When Kiara was born, Rose, her biological mother decided it was best to find someone to raise and take care of her daughter so she turned to what appears to be a long time friend to foster Kiara. The Jyinno family was one that had generations of wealth due to the families connection to local Yakuza in their home of Tokyo. Kiara was left in the care of Itsamu Shigarru/Jyinno and Natsumi Hiyori/Jyinno and their head maid, Mai Mijami/Jyinno.Itsamu and Natsumi were having trouble conceiving a child of their own so they gladly took Kiara in, however. They were also very busy parents so Kiara's care was mostly left to a handful of their maids with Mai as primary caregiver.

-Foster Mother- Natsumi Kiyori/Jyinno was born to a family that has a long history with the law and legal matters of Tokyo and surrounding areas. Natsumi followed in her families foot steps and went to law school but ended up becoming a teacher at a renown university. She was a teacher and a public speaker for years before Kiara was turned over to the family. About the same time Kiara came into the Jyinno family, Natsumi quiet her job and started staying within the confines of the family estate. Rumors blame a small Yakuza gang war in the area for it but Natsumi never went back to teaching. Instead she got a job with the local law writing reports from the family estate. Her new job kept her busy which seemed to keep her from spending much time with Kiara which put Kiara's care into the hands of the family maid's. Primarily, Mai, which I will write about in the next few reports.

-Foster Father- A lot of Itsamu's history is based on rumors that I found all over the internet, none of which are any sort of official report with any sort of proof. Itsamu Shigarru/Jyinno followed in his fathers and grandfathers foot steps ever since he was a child, both of which had dealt with local Yakuza for generations. Itsamu went to law school and rumors say during that time he was working for the Yakuza which rumors also say is the reason he went to law school. Right out of law school it became clear that he was working with the Yakuza and rumors started that he was working as a liaison between the Yakuza and the local law enforcement. HIs job kept him busy and in danger almost around every turn. Itsamu made sure that his family was safe but with his line of work, it wasn't an easy task. Itsamu was away from the family estate more then he not and it kept him away from his family however, the time he did get at home he spent trying to discipline and keep his family on the right track as well as providing for them the best he could. The Jyinno family wealth came mostly from Itsamu's family lines and a lot of rumors point fingers at the family ties with Yakuza.

-Mai, Kiara's caregiver- Mai Mijami was born and lived with her poor family in the slums of Tokyo. Her family was caught in the cross fire of a gun fight between two local gangs in the area and Mai was taken in by the Jyinno family at a very young age. She was given a place to live and devoted the rest of her life to taking care of the Jyinno family estate were over time she became incharge of all the maids that took care of the family property and care. When Kiara was born, Mai became her primary care giver and the two developed a very healthy and happy relation ship that grew as little Kiara did herself.

-Foster Sister- Sayuri Maiko/Jyinno was born a few years after Kiara had come to the care of the Jyinno family, who had been having trouble conceiving a child of their own. It appears that Kiara and Sayuri had a very close bond ever since the girl was born and that they were practically inseparable. Sayuri was a very happy child and the two sisters grew to be very close as time went on. Both girls were home schooled and taught many different academic lessons as well as extra activities including dance, etiquette, self defense, among many other activities over the years.

~ From birth to the States ~

It seems to be a common thing, but yet again it wasn't easy to find information on Kiara's childhood. I dug up as much as I could and went over it several times to put together a decent record of information. I'm rather impressed by many of the things Kiara's family had done to keep her on the right track and all, despite Kiara's curious and mischievous nature.

-Growing up-

Kiara was taken in by the Jyinno family early on in her childhood so that Rose could get back to work as soon as she was physically able, which was less time then she was given. From the very start Kiara was a very curious, happy and extremely mischievous little girl. It seemed she was easily distracted and had a knack for getting into trouble. Her parents and care giver did everything they could to keep Kiara and her sister distracted. The family had many people come in and teach the girls different outlets such as music and dance as well as acting and theatre. They even went as far as self defense classes when the girls were old enough.

The girls were kept distracted for the most part and sheltered heavily within the confines of the large family estate which consisted of the main mansion and several other buildings amongst several large well kept gardens of flowers and extravagant fountains and landscaping were the girls spent most of their free time exploring and fantasizing about a fairy tale land they were told about by Rose when she came to visit. I've decided to look into these stories out of curiousity but have yet to do so.

As the girls got older they were finally allowed to leave the estate but only under supervision of their care taker, Mai. Who often enough took the girls on trips to visit museums, theaters and many other places too keep the girls curiosity satisfied. However, as the girls got older it seemed it wasn't enough so they started sneaking out at night and at every chance they got. At first it was harmless exploration of the city but it grew into so much more.

I managed to dig up some dismissed police records about the two girls involvement in local street level gang activity. Some of the early reports mention the girls being targets of the gang activities but later reports mention the girls being involved which leads me to believe they were being forced or bribed in some way to go along with such activities. None of the reports mention anything more then just pick pocketing or petty theft and a few breaking and entering cases. All of which were dismissed or throw out without investigation.

-A heavy change of heart-

When Kiara was sixteen her sister passed away. I cannot find anything about how or what caused the sudden death of such a young girl but it's clear the event hit Kiara extremely hard. Kiara had blamed herself for the death of her sister and almost instantly started to pull into herself hiding her cheerful and energetic personality she was known for. She stopped going out with Mai to explore the city and even started to try and pull out of all the activities and classes she was involved in. Mai and her family had to almost literally drag her from her room to get her to be social and attend her classes. Nothing they did seemed to help Kiara until one day she was found and rushed to the Emergency room. Reports claim she attempted suicide but there is nothing to confirm such rumors.

As months went by after the death of Kiara's sister, she started to disappear from the family estate and no one knew were she was going. I dug as deep as I could and could not find an information regarding were she was going or what she was involved with. Several months after her mysterious disappearance acts she started being increasingly social with her family but it wasn't long before Kiara was left alone again. The family mansion caught fire one night and burned to the ground, taking Kiara's family and everything she had left with it. From the records, Kiara survived because she was sleeping that night in the garden house on the outskirts of the family estate that her and her sister had spent a lot of time at growing up. The cause of the fire was never settled.

Kiara had a mental break down after the fire took everything away and she was put into a home for mentally unstable teenagers. For months she pulled into herself and lashed out at anyone who tried to get close, even her mother, Rose, who would come see her several times a week. As time passed Rose managed to get close to Kiara by diverting her attention towards a new home in Detroit of the U.S. were Rose had a penthouse she calls home. After months of trying to get Kiara to open up, Rose finally got release papers for Kiara and immediately took her from the "prison" as Kiara called it.

~ Welcome to the States ~

I found several blog posts related to Kiara's antics once she arrived in the states. It seemed Rose had a small base of people who enjoyed trying to dig up dirt on her and now had a new target, her daughter. It wasn't as hard as most of the other research on the subject was to find but I managed to gather some of the less unimportant material.

When Kiara first came to Detroit with her mother she was still very reclusive and pulled into herself. It seems her mother had to get back to work almost right away and would leave Kiara on her own for days at a time, in which Kiara would leave her mothers luxurious penthouse suite in order randomly explore the city on her own. Kiara seemed to dislike her mothers home because she was often found eating in the shelters scattered across Detroit's west side and china town. Kiara was dirty and often seen wearing the same clothes for days at a time. Many of the blog posts I found claim that Kiara was often sleeping in the storm drains that empty out into the river.

-New Friends and do overs.-

Kiara didn't keep up this behavior long. As she started to meet the exciting individuals that lived amongst the busy city she started to pull herself together and even started spending more time at her mothers home. When her mother was home from her business trips the two spent time together at a little cafe up-town called, "Kaze no Sakura" which means "Sakura in the wind". It was a little privately owned Japanese cafe that Rose seemed to know the owner and her daughter. Kiara started hanging out with the owners daughter, Kagomi Kiji'yurri and her best friend, Memejai Miatosan. Both born and raised in Japan and moved to the states at a very young age. The two girls were a few years older then Koko but the three seemed to get along well enough. At first Kiara seemed to spend more time on her own then anything else but Kago and Meme tried over time to get Kiara to hang out and spend time with them in an attempt to help Kiara cope with everything she was going through. The girls seemed to be just as concerned for Kiara's life style as her own mother was and tried to reach out to Kiara.

As time went on, Kiara's personality started to shine as she let the past go and tried to let loose more. She all of a sudden had all these luxuries at her finger tips, thanks to all her mothers hard work and wealth. Kiara started to spend more time at her mothers penthouse and was often seen wearing custom outfits that really expressed her quirky and free spirited personality. She was often seen skate boarding around the city and exploring many places including comic stores, candy shops, and toy stores as well as one of the busiest social hot spots in the city, a club known to be a gathering point for supers as well as many other forms of diverse creatures. As Kiara started spending more time being herself rather then all tucked away inside, she found herself meeting lots of new people and over time surrounded by all kinds of friends and new adventures.
