Tokiko Marin
"Tokiko 'Dagrun' Marin. The only person I have ever met to have scored an IQ of less than 50. Truly remarkable."
- Aaron Hope
Tokiko Marin of the White Lotus Phantom is an S~ Ranked Black Legion Outer Shadow, serving under SS+ Rated Jun Gasket under the codename Dagrun. She is the only being in existence to possess both God and Oni physiologies, as she is the daughter of Toyotama the Goddess of the Sea and Absalom, the Emperor of the Oni.
Tokiko is an exceptionally powerful samurai, specializing in the White Lotus Kenjutsu School, and is one of the last practitioners of the art. Due to being part Oni and part Goddess, Tokiko's prowess greatly compliments her skillset in battle, making her the fastest Outer Shadow in the entire Black Legion. This is to the extent that her speed has repeatedly been one of her most redeeming factors and one of the major contributing factors to her ranking in the Black Legion.
As an Outer Shadow, Tokiko has access to several Auxiliary Shadows, including her father, Absalom, the metahuman Andy "Visor" Roy, and several others whom Tokiko had picked out of random when her mother scolded her for not doing her job as an Outer Shadow.
Appearance
Tokiko is depicted to possess a very slender and petite frame along with a very childish face, despite being a legal adult. Aaron Hope had described her build as resembling that of a "demon loli", due to her appearing fragile, yet displaying deceptively deadly combat proficiency. Her long hair, like her father's, is purple in color, but her eyes are grey, similar to her mother's.
Likely due to her heritage, being the daughter of two Japanese mythological deities, Tokiko is almost always seen in a yutaka or Japanese clothing. Depending on the occasion, Tokiko chooses different designs. Paired with this are two long black stockings which reach her upper thighs, and a sash that often carries her katana. On her head is a black headband which she wears in hopes of increasing her intelligence through "blood recirculation", though this has yet to yield any significant results.
