History

The Inquisition

    I could sit here and give you the gritty details of the things we where ordered to do to those poor people, but there's just some things I really would rather forget, so I'll just skip to the part where I woke up and saw the acts committed by the "Holy Church" for what they where; barbaric, heinous and evil. What caused the change? Well, I wish I could say it was born out of my own intelligence, but I choose to attribute it to some sort of divine intervention in the form of a woman, her name was Maria Del Savador.

    A beauty of a sight and an even more beautiful personality, Raven black hair, an hourglass figure that could make time stand still and a smile more radiant than I will ever be worthy to set eyes upon, she was a blessing. She ran a small resistance cell, they operated underground, helped many of those who would have been subjected to the Churches means of "Conversion" escape through a series of tunnels and ships. She showed me the suffering of these people for what it was and that was the first time I actively rebelled against the church.

    I wish I could tell you that everything went smooth and that we made it out, lived happily ever after and so on, but...I'm still here, aren't I? Truth of it is, we got caught and captured. They tortured my beloved to death and made me watch, an act that I can assure you I have had the pleasure to watch every one of those who claimed a righteous cause burn in the hottest fires in hell for, over and over and over again. As for me? I vowed to myself to avenge the woman I loved and... well, that is where this story takes a rather interesting turn
