Standing at about five feet and ten inches tall, and weighing about 150 lbs., Mason Kennedy appears as any ordinary youth. His long hair is usually kept straight and casual, though the dedication and care he puts into it says otherwise. His eyes are calm and unassuming, while his near-constant smirk leads many to see him as frisky or light-hearted. Mason is in decent shape, with some muscle definition here and there; in this case, it would be important to note the differences between working out to stay healthy and working out to look appealing, a line Mason tends to criss-cross now and then. While in his civilian attire, Mason keeps it relaxed with dark blue jeans, somewhat worn sneakers, and shirts of variety. His favorite color is blue, and it often shows.
Fighting crime has Mason looking quite a bit different! Wearing blue tights with white trims and gold detailing, he exhibits a mystic and inspiring vibe, almost regal in a way. Starting at the top, his hood covers most of his head and somehow houses that thick hair of his. Gold details curve and curl, detailing the edge of the fabric with an arcane pattern. The same follows suit for the rest of his outfit, with matching patterns to act as a border for the central white and outer blue colors. He wears plain black boots and ceremonial wrappings for his gloves and belt.
Mason Kennedy was born on a chilly March 1, 1997 to two middle-class citizens living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. While an average sized baby, destiny would provide everything but an ordinary lifestyle for the boy. Growing up, Mason had an average suburban life. Playing with his friends down the street, performing admirably in his early years in school, and having above-average possessions made him a pleasant and well-rounded child. However, after curiosity got the better of him, Mason would find his normal life in the neighborhood would forever change.
The people of Ann Arbor had a fear for the lone superhero residing there. A handful of superheroes and vigilantes have stopped through the small city, but few stayed; all but one that is. The Professor sits quietly in his sanctum, watching over the city and its peaceful residents. It's believed the citizens of Ann Arbor fear him out of respect and appreciation. The Professor, who goes by no other name or title, helped protect people when parts of Detroit were devastated by Dr. Destroyer in 1992.
Mason at about age thirteen had a feeling there was something more to this shrouded figure. How could such a great and heroic beacon of hope resort to lurking in a dusty old manor in a peaceful city. Like most citizens in Ann Arbor, Mason was told rumors and tales surrounding the apparent wizard.
