Social Pariah
Members
Devika Jones - Most assume that Devika is a stage name, but her true identity has never been revealed. This being said there is very little known about her past. She seems to have come out of nowhere. Where ever she came from the bad wouldn't have made it without her vocals. She killed on the bass guitar, but it was her punk siren's voice that won fans over. Most of the bands groups have her name on them as the writer. However, she would claim that none of them could have been composed without her 'bitches'.
Though she was clearly the sweetest member of the group, she did have some rock star flare on her. It was publicly known that she was an underage drinker, rumored she had a way with the boys, and all too well know that she could swear like a drunken sailor. She has come in and out of the spotlight since the band broke up. She has appeared in a few duets, but has yet to join another band or start a solo career.
It is an unconfirmed rumor that Devika Jones may be Rhapsody. Both refuse to comment, but diehard fans claim that their voices are too similar for them not to be one and the same.
After Social Pariah broke up she was approached to join Kidnap Karren to fill in the roll of their vacant drummer roll. Jasper/Jess is very forward about being a lesbian and is outspoken about equal rights and gay marriage. She has a spotlight video for the It Gets Better Project and is currently in an open relationship with Iva Eden.
History
Rock and Roll has the long standing myth of the over night success. Three girlfriends from Millennium City, Devika Jones, Karma James, and Jasper Davis, have turned this myth into their reality. Social Pariah seemed to emerge over night. Their first CD was released in February 2008 to quickly make its way onto numerous top twenty lists. There sassy brand of punk has a surprisingly household appeal.
Originally the threesome performed using the name Muff Dive. This was quickly changed to Social Pariah for their debut at Freedom Fest 2007. None of the girls dreamed what this day would bring for them. Forming Muff Dive in March the girls had signed with Vitriol Scandal Records by Mid-October of 2007. There first tour schedule was announced to be held in the summer of 2008.
The band hit a even more of a media storm when the lead singer, Devika Jones, was rushed by a fan mid-show and teleported to get out of the way. The audience erupted into a riot. Despite this the girls seemed to hold a staying spot. They had plans to release a third album in spring of 2009, but due to personal reasons the band feel apart. There are many rumors about what happened, but hardly anyone knows for sure.
The drummer, Jasper Davis, has gone on to join the line up of Kidnap Karren. Devika Jones has on made preformed on KK's latest album and it a known fan of the band.
