Grace Shadegrave, a young arcanist from Scotland, Earth, graduated from Sjal-Dura in 1959 at the age of 19, coming from a wealthy family with an interest in Arcane arts. She is a very intelligent girl who became a master of the arcane arts. She became interested in ancient sorcery and artefacts after graduating, which inspired her to pursue them!
Using portals, she pursued her interests realm by realm, amassing quite the collection all by herself. She had a small, isolated sanctum-house on the lonely planet of Karvea. This planet was very similar to Earth. There was no one living there besides Grace.
-Found love!
During one of her adventures, she met Iacnar Joraere, a High Elf from Darkwood, Juvenja (planet). With the diversity of cultures it housed, Darkwood was subtitled "the Crossroads of Eternity."
Their bond grew stronger over time, and at the age of 24, they found love in each other. Iacnar and Grace were now working as a team. The extraordinary couple accomplished many things; they were unnoticed but had a significant impact on the lives of others. They were rescuing and protecting lost souls in distress, as well as fighting the evil that had taken over those poor people's lives. Building a strong reputation in a variety of fields.
Later in 1974, the couple relocated to the city of 'Fuchsia' on the planet of Juvenja. Because of their good reputation, the locals dubbed them the "Supreme Sorcerers of Fuchsia," and word spread quickly. They were everywhere, working their blood and sweat to reach every despondent soul and get those poor people back on track in any way they could. One day, they came up against a rebel and a powerful baron Pritchard Le Rouge, who had a large army. Fuchsia's supreme sorcerers barely managed to push him off the road, annihilating his fire.
Later, in 1976, they were elected to rule the city of Fuchsia. Everything was perfect, including them. So Iacnar wanted to settle in, but Grace disagreed; she wanted to keep going. However, the loving couple eventually settled into a peaceful life. They have decided to have a child as a result of their love...
-The Fall
Faith's mother, Marion Shadegrave, was born in 1977! A healthy girl with Elven blood running through her veins! They wanted to produce a successor who would carry on their legacy. As a result, they regarded Marion as the next Supreme Sorceress of Fuchsia. With a lot of patience and effort. They lived peacefully under the same roof until one night...
In 1982, their city was under siege by the "Fading Sun" (a.k.a. Followers of Le Rouge), which resulted in thousands of deaths within 24 hours, including Iacnar, Grace's beloved husband and best friend. They had not anticipated this in the midst of peace. Grace and her daughter were forced to retreat, leaving all of her belongings behind. Fuchsia had fallen into the hands of evil.
She had to leave everything behind and return to Scotland the same year. Grace was grieving and wanted nothing more than her daughter's safety. All she could do now was raise Marion to not be the person who would carry on her legacy. In terms of protection, she made Marion wear the powerful amulet "Fuchsia Supreme I." She later made one for herself as well.
-Marion Shadegrave
In 1989, when Marion was 12 years old, she insisted on enrolling in Sjal-Dura because she was aware of her potential and wanted to follow in the footsteps of her mother, Grace, and become the sorceress she had always dreamed of being. So Grace placed her in the Sjal-Dura, where they also had a good reputation going on. She enrolled as an alchemy student.
-The Sweet Times
She returned to Scotland for the winter holidays in 1995, when she was 18 years old. She met "Corvo Bloodworth," a young, cute, and passionate boy, while he was performing simple illisions for a small audience on the street. Marion made the decision to approach and meet with this individual. Marion discovered that he has a strong interest in magic, and she began to demonstrate her abilities in front of Corvo, who was absolutely amazed.
They began dating the following year after spending New Year's Eve together. It was all going well. Following Corvo and Grace's introduction, their friendship grew. Corvo had heard about Sjal-Dura and was eager to enroll. As a result, Grace and Marion supported him.
-Trauma
Corvo and Marion was a student in Sjal-Dura in 1996. They maintained a healthy relationship with Marion until she disappeared without a trace at the end of the year. Marion and Grace had simply disappeared, almost as if they had never existed. Corvo was traumatized and perplexed as a result of this...
Grace unsuccessfully pursued Marion after she was kidnapped by the Fading Sun. Marion had already left. Grace was alone and losing her mind at this rate. She searched everywhere, even raiding and killing hundreds of Fading Sun members on Juvenja. They were so unwilling to divulge Marion's location. Due to her daughter going missing, Grace had become insane. Killing everyone in her path, destroying every book she had written over the years, burning most of her accomplishments, and finally, forgetting her true purpose. She continued her search for her daughter.
-When it all began
On April 23rd, the year 2000, a child was born. The girl was later baptized "Sonja" by her mother. Marion, who had no idea about her past, attempted to raise the baby despite Jaquis' cruel treatment. As a result, she passed away from exhaustion in the fall of 2001.
Sonja was abandoned in a dark room next to her mother's body. Her father was not in the room. The stove was turned on, causing it to explode and set fire to the house. The firefighters arrived just in time to put out the fire, saving the baby with no identity. She was later placed in an orphanage.
Grace was the first to discover Marion's grave, along with a jackass named Jaquis and a small headstone that read "The Baby With No Name." Grace dug right in to see the baby, but the grave was empty. She eventually found the baby using the recordings. And assigned her a caretaker, a close friend named "Mariah," she owed Grace her life. Mariah received all the necessary information from Grace before beginning her work at the orphanage while carrying Marion's amulet.
-The Baby With No Name
In 2001, Mariah took Sonja's responsibility, she called her "Faith". Faith was only a year old when she opened her eyes in an orphanage. Grace was not around, but protecting her from shadows. Sonja, later named "Faith", was growing up, making friends, and socializing just like an ordinary child for 11 years without a problem.
-A wrecking ball of forced adaptation
In 2011, Faith was only 11 when the unknown group ran an attack on the orphanage, it was aimed at her. Her friends were killed in the attack, but Mariah successfully secured Faith. She made her wear the amulet, their last salvation. The amulet warped Faith straight into Sjal-Dura, the school of Arcane arts and Alchemy where she was welcomed warmly. The teachers surely knew who Faith was on regular basis, Grace's granddaughter.
Faith didn't know where she was, or who she is anymore. She was frightened and traumatized... She knew she just lost her friends and her caretaker Mariah. The teachers took care of Faith as if she was their own child.
-Glowing and Growing
From 2012 to 2018, she was well adapted to her new habitat. Making friends, studying her classes... She had chosen the branch "Alchemy" for her major, just like her mother. She had significantly good grades, and she was shining amongst the other students. Her best friend Olivia and she were the dynamic duos of the school. Everyone knew them.
-The Graduating Day of the Dead
The year was 2019, on Faith's graduation day, there was another attack run by the same unknown group on their school, killing many of the students including her best friend. But it didn't reach Faith.
On that day, she swore that she will take her revenge.
-The Lodge Formed
Right after the attack, a powerful coalition named "The Lodge" was founded by Pred Bovleme, the headmaster of Sjal-Dura to protect against any incoming attacks from outside. Later on, Faith and other students were recruited along. Their goal was to protect the school no matter what. Within time, The Lodge grew more vigorous and broader, spreading to the other realms as well. Many operations were run by the Lodge against evil formations.
-The Mole
After one and a half years, the humble founder of The Lodge was founded dead in his office, poisoned. The group members found this suspicious, which caused Faith to stray away from The Lodge to protect herself from the danger. There was a mole among them.
In 2021 The Lodge went through a renovation due to their recent loss; the head was replaced by a woman named Inna Guae Trarkizu. Faith knew something was off with her. Inna wanted Faith's amulet. So, she decided to ghost The Lodge and their calls; she ran for it and moved into the Millennium City in the following year.
-"I would rather just sell these potions..."
In 2021, earning her money from brewing and selling potions, the girl also had a passion for flowers and plants. She had a broad aspect of customers already; she was making well enough for herself.
One day, Faith's amulet suddenly start to shake while she was in her poor basement. It had shot a portal into the wall, to Grace's well-equipped and isolated Sanctum.
In the fall of 2021, her relationship with The Lodge just worsened over time. Inna wanted Faith's amulet; Faith was quite aware of it but didn't budge since her location was unknown to The Lodge.
-An Alliance, alright!
It was the fall of 2021; she had decided to visit the famous Club Caprice one night, taking a night off from brewing potions and studying Arcane That night, she met Sange Vena (a.k.a. Hannah Rosu) and formed a beneficial alliance. So, she'd help Sange get to the power she lusted over, and Sange would help Faith in her adventures and search for answers.
"... Oh, my Mimosa! I have so many things to say about you... First and foremost, I love you regardless of what life throws at me. You were always protective of me; I can't tell you how many times you rescued me from the claws of death... We accomplished so much together. I sincerely hope that fate keeps us together. Hannah, you are my only true love. No one, not even myself, knows what's going on inside of me, and no one can tell me "don't get carried away, it's too early." I trembled when I first realised that I loved you, and my eyes have seen it. I'll try my hardest to keep you as happy as I can. I didn't mean to fall in love with you, but I did! So, hello and welcome to my life and future. There is no such thing as waking up without you any longer."
-Sonja "Faith" Shadegrave.
