~ Introduction ~

Kiara, like most, has her moments. Whether it's making someone laugh or simply making things extremely awkward out of the sheer enjoyment of the reaction she gets from those around her. She is a caring girl, very loving and has an extremely soft heart full of insecurities and curiosity regardless of how she appears on the surface.

Kiara is typically very energetic, with a supercharged personality that is unpredictable in most situations. She loves to flirt and tease, but most of all she loves to make people laugh and smile, especially when she is the one causing such reactions. Call it an addiction to positive attention if you must, but regardless of what it seems, she simply loves to entertain.

Through all the goofy... the energy... the free spirit and the flirtatious behavior... Koko's personality is laced with insecurities, anxiety and little quirks that make her a very shy and awkward girl in many social situations. Her up and down moods can easily flip back and forth with the right or wrong stimulation, even though often enough she carries herself in a very up-beat... care free... happy... and goofy way.

~ History ~

~ The early years, Childhood. ~

Kiara was born, Zoey Laylen Murcutio to, Rosalinda, loving mother and wealthy entrepreneur, who at the time could not take care of her daughter. So little Zoey was left in the trusted care of Rose's close friends, the Jyinno family of Tokyo, Japan.

The Jyinno family was one gifted with wealth and luck, well known for their commitment and contribution to the local community. However, they had trouble conceiving a child of their own. The family was very happy to take in Zoey and welcome her as one of their own. When Zoey was only a few years old, the Jyinno family finally had a baby of their own. A beautiful girl named Sayuri, who clung to her older sister from the very first moments of her life. From that point on their sisterly bond would grow only stronger as time had passed. The two sisters were inseparable.

The two young girls lived a sheltered yet spoiled childhood. They were home schooled on the Jyinno family estate by a private tutor and maid that also took care of the girls. The girls and their care giver, Miyoki had a very close relationship and spent a lot of time together. As the girls grew, not only did their bond grow, but so did Zoey's curiosity and addiction to mischief and pranks often dragging her sister down with her. Trouble seemed to attract to the two inseparable sisters so their parents decided to get them involved in more focused activities such as dance classes, music lessons and many other activities to keep the two girls busy and distracted. As time when on, the girls grew closer to one another, spending every moment possible with each other.

~ Double trouble, the teen years. ~

As the girls reached their teen years, their curiosity for the outside world had peeked. As children they had only left the Jyinno family estate under the strict supervision of their parents or Miyoki and didn't really get to enjoy the time out in the world. The girls couldn't take being stuck inside the confines of the large and very beautiful estate they felt so imprisoned in, so they started sneaking out whenever a close eye was turned. At first their adventures were brief and they didn't wander far but over time they came upon many places they liked to visit upon their exploration of the city.

One of the places the girls enjoyed visiting was a shrine that many of the local people visited for prayer of good fortune. The girls enjoyed their time there and spent most of it enjoying the stories of the elderly that visited the shrine. At night the girls would often sneak out to a hill on the outskirts of the wealthy district their home was part of. They spent time enjoying the stars and reflecting back on the many adventures they had shared as time went by.

~ A tragedy so sudden. ~

The girls were lucky to have such a wonderful childhood and upbringing but with all good things comes tragedy. One that struck so quickly and took everything away from poor little Zoey. One evening a fire started in the Jyinno family home and spread too fast for anyone to contain. The fire took the lives of Zoey's foster parents and hospitalized her sister. Durring the events of the tragedy Zoey's mother had come to stay with her and help her through the hard times. Weeks went by and Zoey's sister's condition didn't improve and she was lost.

Zoey blamed herself for the loss of her sister and parents and became struck with grief, remorse and depression. While her mother was in Tokyo, she spoke of taking Zoey home to America with her and Zoey was a bit opposed to the idea. She didn't want to leave home so her mother stayed as long as she could in Tokyo but was taken away by her strict business life. After her mother left for the States, Zoey attempted suicide in hopes to join her sister and family in death. After spending days in the hopsital Zoey's state of depression only became worse and she was shipped off to her mother in the states.

~ A second chance at a new life. ~

Upon arriving in Detroit, Zoey did everything she could to avoid staying at her mother's penthouse suit. She even went as far as sleeping on the streets for days at a time. Rose did everything she could to make sure Zoey was comfortable and felt at home. As time had passed, Zoey spent her days adventuring the new city she was to call home just as her and her sister had done back in Tokyo. She started making friends amongst the city's hotspots under the chosen name "Kiara Kokoro" which she took from the phrase "Kokoro no Karakai". As time went on her depression was pushed to the back of her mind. She never did forgive herself it seemed and she avoided talking about her prior life if at all possible.
