Background and Origin
Born a bomb...
Born to a Brazilian Father and a Russian Mother, his grandmother was a lucky survivor of Chernobyl during the disaster that resulted in a nuclear plants meltdown. He was born in Brazil and grew up there for a time before his parents divorced. In an attempt to leave their life with his father behind, Ms. Markov flew them to the US, heading for the newly constructed Millenium City. He went years there, growing up, just like any normal kid. When he was fourteen, his powers started to manifest.
He was scared, terrified at first. He couldn't control his abilities, he ended up destroying his home in a blast of atomic energy. In fear, he ran. PRIMUS agents found him easy enough and took the now orphaned boy in. He suffered from nightmares for months of his mothers final moments. What he had done to her had took it's toll in his mind. He chose to use his estranged fathers last name, Masters. Jason Masters.
He stayed at UNTIL HQ, training to control his outbursts of atomic energy,eventually managing to control it. His abilities getting more and more manageable as he trained with them. Once in a while he left the HQ to fight crime... but always ended up hurting people more than he meant to help them. PRIMUS constructed a power suit that would generate a forcefield that would trap in excess atomic energy, keeping him from poisoning people. With this new suit and job, Atom-Kid was born.

Powers, Skills, and Attributes
Powers
Power 1 - Atomic control, manipulation and absorption allows Jason to fire blasts of Atomic energy, projecting them into powerful concussive blasts.
Power 2 - An ability he calls 'Atomic-Fire-Flight-', allows him to fly in a cloud of atomic energy.
Power 3 - Matter transmutation, he can change one thing into another, limited to non-organic matter.
Attributes
Attribute 1 - Despite his short height, he has beyond normal strength, speed and agility.
Gear and Equipment
Gear
Weapon - Gear and equipment are the things your character carries around and uses. These can be things like weapons and armor.
Armor - The lead lined 'ATOM' (Atomic Testing Observation Monitor) suit is both a tracker and a shield, for both Jason as well as other people. It absorbs excess atomic energy and allows him to reabsorb it to heal or power up.
