History
Stephanie Montgomery was an only child to a loving mother and father named, Sharrel and Earl Montgomery. They lived in Hudson City, New Jersey where they tried to make the best of the life despite all the crime and many vigilantes that roamed the rooftops with wannabe non-powered superheroes played Silent Knight and tried to keep the streets clean and the people safe. Stephanie spent most of her days as a cheerleader in high school while also participating in weekly martial arts classes and gymnastic lessons where she learned to master flexibility, agility, speed, and reflexes. Her parents would be so proud of her when she would win martial arts tournaments or got a metal for performing a triple somersault.
One night after Stephanie came home from cheerleading practice she would find her mother and father's dead bodies; bloodied on her living room floor, she soon called the police and fled to Millennium City to start her life a new as a street kid using her array of talents to defend herself, Stephanie would never find out who killed her parents and why but she would take their death as a sign that its not a "A Big Bright Beautiful World" with happiness everywhere.
Stephanie soon took to the streets as a vigilante named, Raider, this name was given to her after the local newspapers took notice she would randomly attack warehouses for any thugs and then beat them to a pulp. Stephanie would eventually come across Wayland Talos, a weapon manufacturer for the New Purple Gang, Stephanie would attack Talos after overhearing police radios saying that Talos is making weapons lethal enough to fend off an army of police units, Stephanie knew this weapons had to be destroyed. After convincing Talos to step out of the weapon making business; he would do this and leave and Stephanie would claim her reward of electro-shock grenades, grappling hooks, hi-tech boomerangs she nicknamed "Owl-Disks", and smoke pellets.
Stephanie soon realized she had enough gadgets to take up a new costumed identity. She chose on "Owlgirl" since it sounded cool and because owls are in season with a bunch of vigilantes naming themselves after owls.
