Zeke Crowsky and his friend Candace Felspar were two ordinary people. The two had been friends practically since birth. But then Candace started to change; She became aggressive and agitated all the time, took pleasure in stealing, and eventually started up her own Gang. Zeke discovered that Candace had been possessed by a Dark Spirit from the 1850s of one of America's more ruthless criminals.
He wanted his friend back and decided to look for a way to exorcise the spirit from Candace in the Great Beast Bookstore.
