REASON FOR TOPAZ INGENIOUS
First Off: I like how Topaz Ingenious is just a normal human, and not just of cosmic origin. I wanted to make someone based on my nickname, and also gave myself special abilities. Even if he's not completely me, I still enjoy playing as someone that has the same name as I do. The rest just fell into place. Hope you enjoy my page!
IN-GAME ORIGIN
I knew someone, someone who didn't believe in violence, or believed in attacking anyone. He just wanted to be safe, make the best of his life, and keep everyone else safe in the process. That was before the life-changing event that changed his POV on life, and soon enough, he decided to enforce a rebellion on the twisted slave island he grew up on. Unfair treatment, unfair labor, and ruthlessness across every corner of Slave Order.
After seeing his sister killed; his brother forced to choose between life as a slave or a Protector (The Slave Enforcers); his parents drowned; and himself tortured into near submission, it's no surprise he'd want TRUE ORDER on Slave Order. He trained with a rebel leader for years, isolated from the world and expecting everyone to forget about him. Twelve years passed, and he was sure he was ready. So he grabbed the necessary gadgets to do what needs to be done.
Returning to the slave grounds, he had his mind set on blowing up all valuable resources important to the Protectors. He eventually managed to do so; unfortunately, Elite Protectors (Elite Slaves) were sent to kill anyone in sight.
Eventually, he took them down after rigorous focus and quick reactions. He led the remaining slaves to a boat he made, and make for a better civilization. With the food and subsistence needed, they could survive. Wrong. Not everyone made it, and some of the slaves thought it best to drown themselves or call it quits on life. The remaining supplies were his, and it lasted him for twelve days. Afterwards, he almost committed suicide because he couldn't survive alone.
No food, water, or anyone nearby to socialize with, he soon died. But as he swept on the shore of the Gulf Coast, some people shocked him back to life and brought him back to health. That guy was me, and now I swear to protect anyone innocent, punish the guilty, end of story.
BATTLE FOR DETROIT
As I was brought back to health, I began to train back to my peak strength capacity. Unfortunately, the "News" got in the way and I saw Detroit was being invaded. So I decided to suit up and stop the invasion. As I arrived closer, I was almost shot down by a beam in the sky, destroying most of Detroit. I managed to dodge some of it, but my armor was already damaged, and partially destroyed. With the heat of the beam as close as it was, it singed some of my skin. The parts of my skin not covered by the armor anymore, but I had no time to formulate a back-up plan. I saw half of Detroit, decimated and laid to waste. So I gathered my will and courage, and attacked the robots for now. I knew talking to them may not work, so i had to use my weapons and power armor instead. I attempted to hold back the mechanical forces, using all my skills at my disposal. Planning to thin out the amount of robots to allow other heroes hope and civilians ability to run away without being shot down. But one thing I realized, these people are slaves just like me.
Controlled by a ruler, and they're forced to obey. So I tried talking some sense into them, no one listened. So I continued with previous plan. Two hours have passed, and other heroes have shown up to the scene to stop the invasion. Unfortunately, the "ruler" sent in what the heroes nearby called: Mega-Destroids. I'm not fit or powerful enough to take down those robots, so I had to find a place to hide and note to myself: Bring something stronger than an armor and a pair a guns in case of emergency. And then, I saw someone with a gravity bike firing at the machines, but one of the heroes were shot down. I used the gravity bike the hero couldn't use anymore, lugged it to my hiding spot as it recharges its systems and its hull. When that was done, I got on my bike. Next thing I knew, a giant " C" building fell over me. If it weren't for the pathway, the building would've fallen on top of me. But it's not my time to die yet, even if this city already has. I saw five heroes looking at the building, then I assumed it was theirs. They called the the Champions as someone flew in from the clouds. One of them called the person, Doctor Destroyer. I was on my gravity bike, watching, as the person responsible for this attack was in front of me. So I waited for him to land, then shot down one if Mega-Destroids.
It almost fell on him, but he blasted through the remnants of the machine. Others were pouring in out of nowhere, the Champions leader, Defender, told me to focus fire in the Mega-Destroids as they focused on Destroyer. All heroes not on a gravity bike, attacked Destroyer. We shot down the colossal machines, others came in, attacking and destroying Detroit. This made some gangs rethink their lives a little, and decide to help out. Not all of them, of course. But when their property was attacked, they didn't care. They helped anyway they could, and with what these people dressed in purple called a genius inventor, had sone inventions to use to aid the cause. After hours of battle, we began to see an end to the Mega-Destroids. But Destroyer was still alive, and the Gravity bikes focused fire on Destroyer.
I, on the other hand, got my knife ready. This is a man who didn't care what happened, so I flew my gravity bike into Destroyer while was distracted. It caused an explosion, damaging him and his armor. Fortunately, no one nearby got hurt. He looked me with his cold eyes, and blasted me while I was still in the sky. So I put up my energy shield, but Defender ambushed Destroyer and knocked him down. The blast wasn't a blast and go, it was a beam rather. Destroyer beaned Defender off him, nearly killing him. I hid behind a wall, gathering my urge and strength to continue fighting. I am the last hope for Detroit. If I fail, who else will stop Destroyer? I sharpened my knife, and got my back-up knife and sharpened that. I used my armor's self-regeneration mechanism in the meantime. My armor scarred, destroyed, and my left arm was bruised and burnt because of a Mega-Destroid shooting the left side of my armor plates off. All that's left on that arm for protection is my gauntlet and my metal glove. Most of my armor was blown off, but it still exists. Destroyer called my name: "Topaz Ingenious! You're all alone! What acts of courage do you dare use against me now? Your friends are dead, the Champions are dead, and while this may be a coincidence you've been alive this long, it ends here!"
I gritted my teeth, squeezed my knife, closed my eyes and wished for the best. My heart beating rapidly as if it'd pop out of my chest any second. But I toughened up and said to myself: "You're better than this. You know what you have to do. Everyone rests dead. What if they're not dead? What if they're too tired to battle? FOCUS!!"
I got a firm grip on my knives; and by my calculations, Destroyer's armor should be torn apart enough for me to stab in the stomach or the chest. But Defender got up, looking at Destroyer, and blasted one last blast to Destroyer. It hit his back and he turned around, so then I ran towards Destroyer and jabbed my first knife into his back. He turned around to backhand me, but I ducked and stabbed him in the stomach next. He looked at me with those cold, terrified eyes. I declared in a cold voice: "Doctor Destroyer, you have been destroyed!"
I punched him as hard as I could, knocking him into the ground. He got the knives out if him and threw them away, he then told me with his dying breath: "I...am Doctor...Destroyer! I will return!"
I heard him breathe his last breath, seconds later, the war was over. I fell to my knees, thinking what've I done? What needed to be done. What had to be done. My first kill, I pray it'll be the last. Days later, the heroes were given hospital care, because no one had the bravery to bury them, neither would I. But by the time people had the chance to burn Destroyer's body, he was already gone. Now I feel even worse. He's coming back, and I'm first. Years passed, and he hasn't returned yet. I assume I feel better considering Destroyer lied, but I I'm keeping my guard up. Detroit was rebuilt, and the heroes who couldn't be brought back to health the way I was, were buried at a special memorial. The Champions were fortunate enough they made it, and are now more on guard than ever. I was congratulated for helping to stoping the invasion, I turned it down. Considering I only made things worse, but everyone else accepted it. So I found an apartment to live in from now on, and I also bought a moon base years later. All is well, for now.

FOES
Battlegaard: The leader of the Anti-Rebellion on my island I grew up on, and enforced order his way.
Fit with superhuman strength, martial arts, deception, and wits, topped off with a Quasar Rifle, Battlegaard is my deadliest enemy.
"Nothing is ever misunderstood, everything has a reason. And when everything has a reason, it's understood why it happens. The reason why your lives are cut short, the reason why war wages, and the reason why a man becomes a power-hungry dictator! It won't be long before you become one yourself..."-Battlegaard to Topaz Ingenious.
Enslave: Battlegaard's Top Lieutenant. A slave successfully transformed an Elite Slave, A Protector, and used to be one of my best friends. But Battlegaard broke him down, and turned him into something else. His motto is: Better to Enslave than be a slave.
Has swords and martial arts abilities
"You're not afraid, are you? Surely you are; because someone brave enough to rebel against a dictator like ours must've forgotten what happened to our last rebel leader. Rest In Peace with what peace you have left..."-Enslave to Topaz Ingenious.
Moralles: My brother subjected to Battlegaard's cruelty, and forced to destroy me. Every second every day, he tries to fight the temptation to kill me or anyone else.
Has a Bo Staff, shock collar around neck in case of inability to perform given tasks, and a Quasar Rifle; Moralles is one of enemies I can't fight.
"I didn't want to do this! I swear! Just kill me, get it over with. You know you want to, but even if you don't, someone will do it eventually. I'm not your son anymore, I'm an elite slave. In order to protect everyone I care about, I have to enforce order whether i like it or not..."-Moralles to his Mother, Melissa Drake.
Bitterfrost: A slave subjected to absolute zero with a test suit. The test suit wasn't fully functional, but it froze his heart rate. The suit simply restarted his heart, but with a dangerous after effect. Bitterness and belief of being left to die.
Has a high powered cryogenic armor
"Do you know who I am? I have a story to tell you, a 'bitterfrost' story, if you will. One night, a man was watching his son play in the snow. He was so happy to see him enjoy the winter season, he suited up and joined him. Hours later, they went down a slope and they had such a grand time. When they returned home, they found a robber had taken all of their belongings and left a message on the wall of every room: Cherish your loved ones, or you will be in for a chilling reception...
"Later that day, the father was assigned to temperature diagnostics tests. So he suited up, but the scientists were killed in cold-blood if you will. The temperature was turned to absolute zero plus, and the man froze to death. That guy was me. How am I alive, you ask? The armor I was wearing, and still am; and days later, I found my child dead at my doorstep. I know I didn't enjoy life as much as I should have, but now I enjoy life with a bitterfrost mixture of love and war. So after five years of searching, I';ve finally found you. Now, allow me to put your life of crime on ice..."-Bitterfrost to the robber.
Night Hunter: The first rebellion leader subjected to her grim belief of hopelessness of ever starting a rebellion. She went into hiding, but she was the one who trained me. And she knew I'd finish where she left off, but she was soon subjected to evil after seeing her sister killed. Eventually, she grew to be mad with the world.
Has guns, swords, powered armor, and knowledge of my attacks; Night Hunter is not only one my maddest foes, but my mentor.
"I don't care what you've done. What matters is why you do what you do, and this island i sbetter off without you. I may not be a rebel leader anymore, but I'll be a rebel leader for myself..."-Night Hunter to Battlegaard.
Radiation: A mine worker disfigured and cast out of Slave Order. He sought for somewhere he could call home after radiation spilled on top if him, he was never the same. He somewhat became what people call an "Irradiate" where I live now. But he far exceeds the potential of an Irradiate.
Has radioactive auras, projectiles, and can corrupt you with his radiation; no combat experience; but Radiation is my 2nd deadliest enemy.
"You are one of the few left, feel free to give into radiation anytime..."-Radiation to Battlegaard.
Dark Hunter: A man with the darkest and most tragic life in Slave Order. And no one knows why. But whatever happened cumulated into something terrifying, He appeared out of nowhere one day, and he began recruiting lost and broken slaves into his order: The Dark Order.
Has guns, deceptive mind, mentally unstable, peak human strength, and all kinds of weapons; Dark Hunter is my darkest yet most dangerous foe of all.
"I won't tell you who I am, but if you want something to take to your grave; the name's Dark Hunter."
FRIENDS
Medea: A sorcerer of Red Academy that could be considered a sidekick considering we mission most of the time.
Nikki: Another friend of mine; who seems to have taken up my abilities and used them for her own purpose. It seems she could be the Next Topaz Ingenious.
Zakrael: An angelic warrior that has helped me many times in the past.
Albus Averos -S-: A remarkably resilient powerhouse that helped me and countless heroes stop Gravitar from harming Millennium City.
Caliga: May not be one of the most heroic heroes, considering he wants to rule the world. But I appreciate what he stands for, the fact that he's a hero-bound alien is something to aspire to.
Unstoppable Creep: Another member of Red Academy that helped take down Gravitar, and a powerful one, as well.
The Champions: The Main Heroes of Millennium City, and helped me take down Doctor Destroyer. Occasionally getting the chance to mission with them helps me catch up on time.
WHAT I DO IN MY FREE TIME
When I'm not busy fighting crime and Battlegaard's slaves, I usually attend costume contests, duel, attend school at Red Academy, and tend to run missions with my supergroup and others. And try to keep in touch with Vanquish.

TYPE OF MUSIC
I've never heard of "music" before. But it seems a lot of people enjoy it thoroughly. Is there any way I can access this? YouTube? When you're away from civilization cut out from the world, you don't really know a lot.
BATTLE PREFERENCES
Any form necessary unless it involves killing.
THOUGHTS ON TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT
I plan to find a cure for cancer. The elderly were diagnosed with the disease. And if there's other diseases, I'll be sure to look into it. And look into making a gravity bike. They fared well against the Mega-Destroids in the Battle for Detroit.
THINKING ABOUT MY MARTIAL STATUS
I prefer to be single unless circumstances approach. But I might rethink that when I retire, if I live that long.
WHAT A REBELLION LEADER DOES WITH HIS TIME
Crime fighting, schoolwork, and stopping Battlegaard's forces
RICH OR POOR?
I'm sorry, what's the question again? You're asking how much money I have? At the moment, none.
SENSE OF HUMOR?
That question doesn't amuse me.
RETIREMENT PLAN
Retire at eighty-five and train someone trustworthy to replace me.
MY IDENTITY
No one should know who I really am underneath. It's for the safety of everyone.
BACK-UP PLAN?
If none of my tactics work, and I'm on death's doorstep, then I'll consider taking a life.

REBELLION THEMES AND INSPIRATIONS
Topaz Ingenious's Lullaby
---
"Silent your mind, calm your fears.
---
Just let go, of all your cares.
---
Drift away, to the world you know.
---
A world, where you're safe.
---
Close your eyes, and you'll see.
---
Your world, is your creation.
---
Find a world, where you belong.
---
Here is not the place, here is where you'll suffer.
---
Rest you head, and dream a better world.
---
Find your place, and stay.
---
And when, when you're ready.
---
To do, what has to be done.
---
Open your heart and hands my son, or you'll never make it over the river.
---
It'll take a lot more, than words and guns.
---
A whole lot more, than riches and muscle.
---
The hands of the many must join as one, or we'll never make it over the river.
---
The river that separates us from freedom and war, so join hands now.
---
Or we'll never make it over, the river.

THE ULTIMATE CRISIS, PT. 1
When people become afraid of me, and when they worry what would happen if all crime was eliminated at last; president Biselle issues an arrest in my name. Everyone's always been afraid of my choice of weapons, and now want to do something about it.
I resisted arrest the first time, and the times after that. Everyone says I'm a villain now. Property damage, suspected deaths, resisting arrest; anything the public could throw at me to convince everyone else I'm a villain. Everyone wanted me around, but what now? I talked to Calvin Biselle one day, trying to convince him that I'm not a bad guy. Unfortunately, he refused my plead and announced...
"I have to do what is right for the people of Millennium City. I can't give in to villainy."
Clenching my fists but resisting the urge to put a bullet in his head, I calmy pleaded more...
"Y'know, if you want to do what's right; then believe me."
Biselle called the Champions and I had to think I could convince them, or Defender at least. The Champions arrived and Biselle explained what's been going on, and I told my part of the story afterwards. Defender didn't know which side to believe. He had to choose between the President and a Friend. But he choose the president's story, apologized, and attacked me. I threw down a smoke pellet I managed to make in case of emergencies, and flew away. I tried to hide somewhere the Champions couldn't find me, if it weren't for Defender and some creep orchestrating all this. How will I ever clear my name?
I flew to my penthouse and I activated the steel walls no cne could see what's behind it. I hid from the world, trying to think of a plan, anyone responsible...
Then I thought of someone on the island that was used to stabilize an unhealthy or dangerous mind. Someone by the name of, I, don't remember. That perosn, that psychic, is messing with my mind! But suddenly, I felt sleepy and I collapsed onto the ground. I woke up in a dream, or a nightmare rather. I stood my ground slowly and cautiously, looking around at the surroundings of the location. This place, I recognize it; MIllennium City. No, not Millennium City anymore, it's a Millennium City in Crisis! I saw burning buildings, fires burning out of control, people on fire, villains breaking out of prison, mass property damage, murder, it was horror. And I had=ve no idea who was responsible for this. I'm unprepared, and my self-esteem is dangerously low even more. Who could've done this? An answer came to my mind, but I forgot. I heard someone screaming, it's coming from behind. I turned around and dodged a superhero thrown to my direction, and just in time. I saw a muscular built man, armor clad with military utility strapped to his chest, arms, harnesses: Moralles. What is he doing here? The superhero stood up slowly, and I could hear some of his bones crack. I helped him up, he thanked me and before I could ask what's going on here, Moralles had a shock collar on him and electrocuted him to death, literally.
I let go of his hand and looked at Moralles, pointing my pistols at him and fired at will. I fired my power armor at him, everything. He put his helmet on to keep his head safe, smart but not-so-smart considering I know the weakpoint of the helmet to dislocate it, remove it, and deliver a punishing blow hard enough to knock him out. Then take him to my penthouse for questioning, if it's still here. I fought the fear inside me and kept firing. He shot a grappling hook to my building and arrived for the battle. He got his swords and guns out and attacked ruthlessly, I dodged the sword and blocked with my armor. I tried to get behind him or catch him off guard, so I shot a bullet in his grenade pack strapped to his chest, exploding. If it weren't for our armors, we'd be dead by the explosion. But even the armors may not have been enough since the grenade pack with supposedly upgraded since last time. What year is it now? No time for that, focus on the matter at hand. Moralles stood up and ran towards me with his sword, and firing a gun with the other. I shot bullets at Moralles's bullets to knock them away, and up close, I see the helmet and some of his armor is already torn off. I just need to get up-close to deliver a punishing blow to the jaw and take him down there. Moralles looked like he knew what i was thinking, and prohibited me from elbowing him. So he elbowed me instead, which was way more powerful than mine would've been. He must've been induced with some sort of toxin to make him more powerful, because he's never been this strong.
I tried shooting him again, he knocked away the guns. I fired my power armor weapons at him, he ripped them off my armor. I tried elbowing his jaw again, he grabbed my elbow before I could blink. He looked into my eyes, darkly and coldly, examining me. He looked in my eyes with those now brainwashed, devilish eyes and spoke in a mimicked, dark voice...
"The atrocity of being on death's doorstep, and your best friend is waiting for you to enter. It's the moment you don't expect. And weren't you supposed to be dead!?"
I looked at him, shocked and I struck back...
"The Rebellion Never Dies." "It did, thirty-five years ago."
That's it. I might as well be broken now, but not yet. Moralles stated at me, laughing for a moment then replying to my statement again...
"You always wanted to give Hell to anyone who stood in your way of freedom; now we're returning a favor. Courtesy of our new leader: Welcome to Hell, Ready to Burn?"
