One day after school Cole Washington was in his science lab and spilled one of his experiments on himself. When he awoke his body felt unstable he went to the doctors and was diagnosed with some unknown form of radiation. The doctors said Cole would have to take some medicine regularly to keep his body in check. When Cole didn't take his medicine he awoke the next day to find he had grown ten feet tall. Cole started designing a suit that contained his medicine and that would allow him to control and stabilize his powers. Eventually Cole found out this was happening because of how his experiment was affecting his body's molecules. He also noticed he could lift a thousand tons. Now Cole has started battling crime as MicroscopicMan.
