Knockabout has little memory of her life before she woke on a table in a destroyed lab. The papers she found strewn about the ruined operating room spoke of Project Knockabout, evidently talking about her. She decided Knockabout was as good a name as any.

The same papers gave Knockabout some idea of what had been done to her, and why, but had very little on who she was. The 'history' given on her was a few jot notes about grabbing kids from the streets, but nothing solid. There was plenty more about the sciences of bio and cyber technology, which Knockabout was now full of. There were also several notes on how Knockabout was a 'failed' attempt at perfection, as well as orders to scrub the test subject, and begin again with a new subject.
