That is how Project Savior was created. The goal was to breed an army of super soldiers, with a power to end Hitler’s reign of terror. John’s father, Dr. Steven Raynolds was handpicked to lead the experiment. He composed a special formula that possessed ability to bring human into next level, unfortunately no subject was able to survive more than 3 hours. John did not know more about his father work than the fact that he was trying to help soldiers abroad. As always desire to follow his father footsteps, was too big, that is why John decided to to enlist in the Army. He was rejected at the request of his father.
