The High Watchmaster is undeniably a stern indivudal. Nearly everything he does is done according to the traditions and laws of the Hands of Babylon. This is not to say that he is not fair, as he treats all individuals he meets with a level of kindness and respect, only ceasing this treatment if they prove to be a threat or do not show him a certain level of respect and kindness in turn. This demeanor is extended to the beings that he typically must fight, including angels and demons. | The High Watchmaster is undeniably a stern indivudal. Basic Information
"I am William Kingston, High Watchmaster of Babylon. I am charged with the removal of threats to my home and my people. I am also charged with the protection of humanity, because if there is no humanity there is no Babylon."
"I have been made greater in mind, body, and soul so that I may better execute the duties of my office. My arms and armor are the finest that Babylon can provide. I am also well versed in matters of the arcane, that I may better protect myself and others from the unknown."
Powers
Enhanced Physiology
As with all Hands, the Watchmaster has injested an alechmical formula that causes superhuman strength, durability, and agility
Skills
Hand Training
The Hands of Babylon have their own forms of combat, each as well developed as any Western or Eastern technique. In fact virtually all of them are fusions of the two. This includes armed, unarmed, modern and ancient.
Equipment
Watch Blade
A simple, mass produced, blade. Extremely humble by the standards of enchanted weapons, but the properites of the metal that make up it make it unique. As with all weapons of the Hands, it is made of Babylonian Iron, a special metal created through a combination of alechmy and sorcery. The metal is stronger and heavier than steel, but it has a remarkable capacity to resist magic. The metal also possesses properties that make it more sangerous to supernatural creatures.
Watch Bow
A simple bow made of a modifed form of Babylonian Iron that is flexible. -Typically used with arrows made of yet another form of Babylonian Iron that is extreely lightweight, but far weaker than the type used for armor and weapons.
Watch Uniform
Appearing to be little more than simple leather and cloth, the uniform is actually a suit of armor worn underneath. The armor is composed of a number of form fitting plates of Babylonian Iron. The plates are designed to fit together in such a away that virtually every human movement is permitted.
High Watchmaster's Seal
An amulet enchanted by the Emperor of Babylon. It permits the High Watchmaster to go anywhere in Babylon without harrassment and total, unrestricted access to the library of Babylon. As the "Seal of the Office" it's holder is recognized outside of Babylon as a being of some importance.
Magic
Smite
A simple magically charged blow. The blow can be infused with a number of effects the most common being fire, ice, and electricty.
Heal
Repairs damage to the body, either the casters or a chosen target. The spell can prolong the life of a mortally wounded individual, but not indefinately.
Fireball
A large ball of fire is hurled at the target, exploding on contact
Hammer of Hate
Also known as the "Dragon's Embrace", it is a wave of destructive magic that rips apart everything caught in it's path in a very slow and painful manner. The spell can be channeled, but this leaves the caster vulnerable to being taken over by the Dragon leaving them with an irresitable desire to murder.
Personality
The High Watchmaster is undeniably a stern indivudal. Nearly everything he does is done according to the traditions and laws of the Hands of Babylon. This is not to say that he is not fair, as he treats all individuals he meets with a level of kindness and respect, only ceasing this treatment if they prove to be a threat or do not show him a certain level of respect and kindness in turn. This demeanor is extended to the beings that he typically must fight, including angels and demons.
Known Information
The larger law enforcement organizations know very little of Babylon or it's Hands. This is largely due to the secretive nature of the mystic world. What is known is that the Watchmaster is a very dangerous combatant who typically goes after mystical threats.
Those aware of mystic world know far more. They know that the Watchmaster is a highly ranked member of the Hands of Babylon. This also means that they know he is unfailingly dedicated to the protection of Babylon, and by extension humanity. More sinister mystics know to avoid crossing his pat, for while it is not certainly a death sentence, there is a high likelihood of such a fate.
