Light Wing, whose secret identity name is Michelle Summers, is the single daughter of the Summers family. She is one of the very few to be genetically compatible with an intelligent and self-aware power gem, simply named Gem. Light Wing focuses on both humanitarian efforts and fighting crime.
Discovering Gem
Light Wing began developing her powers since a young age. She was gifted Gem as a graduation gift, only to later find out that this piece of jewellery is responding to Light's mental and verbal commands.
Like any child with a silly fantasy, Light wished for many random things; such as the gift of flight, mind-reading, appearance changing, and super strength. And like any other 11-year-old, Light had little awareness of consequence until confronted about her reckless actions. From property damage to violation of privacy, Light lived in her own little world... until the government came. Light Wing was caught under heat of legal obligations when UNTIL appeared and agreed to compensate for the property damages upon the condition the Light Wing joins their newly established training program* under their full supervision.
