Background
Rebecca Constantine's history is shrouded in mystery, but one thing is certain - she was born as a completely normal human girl.
At the tail-end of 1993, Rebecca was born to parents Julia and Mark Constantine in Los Angeles. During her childhood, the girl was completely normal in the usual sense of the word. She had long, blonde hair and sky-blue eyes to match her fair, pale complexion. Nothing much of interest happened in this stage of Rebecca's life, as she attended school, got good grades and made a multitude of other friends. This trend continued up until she joined an expeditionary group in her high school, at the age of 15.
The club was funded by the four teachers in charge and involved traveling to other countries known for their history and exploring ancient architecture and uncovering myths. Rebecca loved the expeditions that she and her fellow club-members went on, as they were interesting and allowed her to travel the world at such a young age with good friends. Of course, her parents had a completely different opinion; worried that the caves or ruins their child often ventured into could collapse with the group still inside, or they'd be subject to some ancient disease kept locked up beneath the surface. Because of this, Rebecca decided it would be in her interest not to tell her parents about their latest planned destination - "Monster Island".
Fascinated by the name alone, Rebecca and the other students jumped at the chance to be taken on a tour of the island by a lesser-known hero named Jetset. On arrival, Jetset met the group of four adults and seven teenagers, and agreed to backup from a squad of UNTIL soldiers. Jetset mentioned a cave that was previously inhabited by Lemurians that used the space for their mystical rituals, and the group decided that the cave should be their first location.
