Roleplay: Player
I play a variety of player characters in Champions Online:
- Nineveh, a mentalist hero,
- Plasma, an electric/heat-based hero,
- Magpie, a cat burglar antivillain,
- The Grey Shrike, an archer villain.
Roleplay: Gamemaster
I also run small, limited-scope scenes for players, in what I call the SparkVerse. Each would be a short adventure, involving one to three player characters. I'd like to run some longer, more involved plots, but I'd prefer not to until I am sure of the players, and they're sure of me.
The lore is standard Champions Online canon, with the occasional mistake alteration. Power level will generally be low, and most adventures will be set in Millenium City, with the occasional side trip to somewhere more exotic.
Occasionally I might use one of my player characters in a scene as an NPC. I strongly believe the action should be centered on the players, not the NPCs, so they'll stay out of the way and only voice original ideas when it looks like the players need them to.
Current NPCs
- Tiamat, a nihilistic and unpredictable villain (character is currently in reserve, until I use her in an ongoing adventure.)
- Lt. Robert Steward, MCPD forensic detective and metahuman liason.
