Somehow knowing that Freyja did not mean her any harm Vigdis accepted her new 'hand' and continued on with her life, never finding herself without a weapon in battle. After many years Freyja returned to Vigdis and offered her the opportunity to join the Valkyrie. Having been unable to find a worthy opponent in all the years since obtaining Vápnstefnari and fearing that old age may claim her before a death in battle, Vigdis accepted and returned to Fólkvangr with Freyja.<br><br> | ||
