Background and Origin

Early Life


Ella Orwell was born to Ken and Jesse Orwell on February 14, 1991. She had her a fairly normal upbringing, though not necessarily a peaceful one. Ella's father worked as the city district attorney, and was occasionally targeted by some of the more organized crime syndicates. None of these threats ever harmed the family, but it did lead her parents to teach Ella self-defense techniques at a young age. With her parents pushing her, Ella became a black belt in Muay Thai at the age of 13. During high school she used the techniques she learned in these courses to become an all-state athlete in gymnastics and track. She also continued to take self-defense classes, picking up black belts in Taekwando and Krav Maga.

At Santa Bella State University Ella continued to excel as a gymnast. Her studies in physics left little time for her other activities, however. Deciding that earning her degree was more important than acquiring new fighting skills, she put her martial arts efforts on hold. While at a gymnastics meet she met Shane Hilton, a scout for the Irisian Olympics Team. He was so impressed with her skill that he asked her if she would consider joining the national team. Ella agreed on the condition that she was allowed to continue her education. She realized this would mean missing some competitions, but Shane agreed to her terms.

Powers


"I'm always armed."
Psionic Constructs - Oracle's is most notable for her psionic abilities. These manifest in a few different ways, but her most common use for them is to create psionic constructs. These constructs are only limited by her imagination, leading some of her colleagues to jokingly call her "Yellow Lantern." In many ways, this would be an accurate description of her abilities. These constructs can inflict physical damage such as cuts and broken bones, however, they are also capable of creating mental stimuli that cause her enemies pain without injury.

Most of Oracle's psionic constructs are versions of standard weapons. For long range attacks, she uses what she calls "Crazy Ivan Missiles" and "Kinetic Darts." The maximum range of these constructs is unknown, though Oracle suspects that their range is limited to her telepathic reach. For close quarters combat she wields a pair of psionic swords. Usually she uses these to inflict pain in an attempt to force the target to surrender, however, she has been known to use these to cause physical, and often lethal, damage.


Telepathy - Not every hero HAS powers, of course, in which case the powers section can be deleted.


Omni-vision - A unique manifestation of her telepathic powers, Oracle has the ability to see the world from almost any point of view. This power includes the ability to see what another person sees, but is much more all encompassing. She can read the memory of digital cameras allowing her to become "Big Sister," and if she wants she can create psionic constructs to act as her eyes. The downside to all of this is that it can be slightly disorienting when she uses this power, as she must adjust to her new perspective of the world. For most situations, she uses this ability to read the digital cameras that Justiciar used to replace her eyes.

Attribute 3 - Again, like the last two, if you have no use for it, delete this section. You can also ALTER the section if there is something missing that you would find more fitting.


Gear and Equipment

Gear


Weapon - Gear and equipment are the things your character carries around and uses. These can be things like weapons and armor.


Armor - Feel free to use this section to name and describe the gear that your character uses, if any. Be, again, as lengthy as you like.


Gadget - If this section does not apply to your character, feel free to delete it. Also feel free to add more sub-headers as they apply, such as for a vehicle, perhaps, and that vehicle's statistics.

This section is specifically for a spouse, lover, or some other form of paramour. Feel free to use any of the formatting from 'Friends/Allies' below.
