Description
White is a member of a genetically engineered species of humanoid avians, the Liberavi. He is a mutant of his own species, having the ability to produce plasma (Ionised gas) and manipulate it through naturally generated magnetic fields. He has very little experience in the way of typical day to day life as the result of a mixture of light indoctrination and improper conditions to raise a child of any species. The result of this is a being that has not as of yet fully matured in a mental sense, thus, he is naive and can be childish at times. As a result of recent events in his life, he has decided to attempt to live the hero's life, helping any who need it at any time he can, even if it can be a dangerous or even life endangering task.
Physical Appearance
White Solar-Partisan is for the most part just the same as any member of his species, when it comes to immediately visible traits. He is of a slender 6'8" humanoid build. His body is mostly covered in a layer of white and black feathers, covering his similarly coloured skin. This colouration, however, is vastly different from the colouration of other members of his species. Typically they are coloured like birds of paradise, using bright blues, yellows, reds and greens. The one exotically coloured area of his body is the bases of his heavily protruding brow and cheek feathers. These bases are coloured a bright blue.
He can also be recognised by his typical outfit which will usually cover his body entirely. A powered suit coloured with bright whites and silvers with a bright blue visor and navy under-suit. The entire surface of this suit typically can be seen in a state that is polished to the point of literally glinting in the light, this being part of the source of his nickname turned hero alias 'White Glint'.
Rarely will White be seen not wandering around in his family's traditional armoured suit, though when he is in casual wear he is to be seen in an odd combination of a grey shirt, a blue hoodie, khakis with black and white sneakers.
History
Early Life (1990~ - 2000)
White Solar-Partisan was conceived at some point in the period of to his parents, Grey Partisan and Cyan Solar-Carver as one of a clutch of two with his sister Gradient. They were conceived on the uncharted island that the Liberavi inhabited at the time, somewhere in the pacific ocean. Unfortunately the joy of the conception was not to last for long as within two weeks they were 'eggnapped' by the troops of VIPER Commander Oswald Garland. Upon the discovery of their abduction the father, Grey Partisan, had been driven into what could be best described as a hate fuelled rage, triggering violent behaviour that had not been seen for an extremely long time. The VIPER commander and his troops were chased through the island by Grey's forces to no avail as Commander Garland managed to escape with the egg White was in. His egg was taken from the island to the mainland of the United States to be raised by Garland, personally.
Due to his young age, he was easily misled by Garland even without any indoctrination, as doing such for a single subject was deemed as 'a waste of resources'. The plan was to trick him into thinking he was artificially produced by VIPER's scientists to produce an organic weapon specifically for a very important job. The suit that he was raised to use was actually a prototype produced as a possible design for their mainstay power armour units. However, the design flaws with the suits were that they were too slim for most operators to use, this caused the prototype to fail to compete with larger and bulkier models which also required less advanced technology. The fact that White's species is notably slimmer than most humans made him use this otherwise useless asset.
Growing up(2000 - 2010)
The young White was raised personally by Commander Oswald Garland, with his personal guards and troops. He was raised and roughly educated as all they needed him to know was how to operate the suits. As a result of about 16 years of life with the young avian, the troops were actually growing to care about him. Actually caring for and assisting White when the Commander wasn't around to see it. Contrary to what many would believe, VIPER troops are not ALL heartless or monsters... At least some of them.
Upon his 16th birthday he was brought out for the final tests, as usual, overseen by Commander Garland and his personal guard. The tests began as normal, mobility tests and weapons tests, targeting, etcetera. However, the Commander was not satisfied with the lack of an actual human opponent for the young avian. He felt that White needed a much tougher opponent than dumb AI drones and immobile dummies. He ordered one of the guard to open fire upon the young White. The entirety of his guard force was confused, reluctant even, they didn't want to risk harming the kid they'd grown to care about. Oswald wouldn't have such insubordination, resulting to the most unexpected action. He executed the guard that had refused to do as ordered. This seemed to be extremely out of his character. Well, as it turns out, those higher up were demanding to see actual, tangible, results of his little pet project he'd been spending so much time on, as he was partially neglecting his duties. So, this execution was a desperate attempt at getting what he needed, or it would be his head that would be on the line. He demanded that one of his guards step forward and perform the task. When no one stepped forward, he swiped a rifle from one of his guards. When no one else can get the job done, better do it yourself.
White was ,of course, oblivious to the goings on in the command room, as it was one way glass. He was wondering why no additional test had begun but he knew there was something going on. Suddenly, Garland barged out of the command room of the firing range, holding a rifle. White wasn't sure what to make of it as he wasn't sure how to identify the expression on his face. When his surrogate father took aim at him he would query if it was a joke. An elaborate ruse to keep him on his toes. No. It wasn't. Garland would open fire upon White. As a result, White would have to take evasive action, managing to avoid the most damaging shots from the unexpected attacker.
Overcome with a mixture of confusion and anger, he was left in a state of unresponsiveness, hiding behind cover with Garland making loud comments about how it was time for White to prove himself. White snaps. He swiftly moves from cover to cover, slowly approaching the firing Commander. When he gets close enough, White leaps at the attacker, the weight of his suit making it easy for him to bring him to the ground. Due to a mixture of being in puberty and the situation, he was in a state of blind emotional rage. He wasn't even sure what to even say as the subject that was like a father to him for as long as he could remember had tried to kill him for all he knew. The guards stayed away out fear of being the subject of either one's wrath. Overcome with rage, something was triggered, he had Garland by his upper arm and the rifle he was using, trying to keep him from firing. Suddenly a bright blue burst of heat and life was vented from White's hand, almost cleanly severing everything below the upper arm from his shoulder, managing to also cauterise the wound from the sheer heat.
The Commander was crying out in pain, on the floor, bleeding heavy from the open wound where his arm was. White on top of him rising in a bad emotional state. The guards were just watching in shock, not moving. White, overcome by their stares rushes out of the room at top speed, barging through anyone in the way. None of the soldiers in the nest knew what to make of the bright white armoured individual rushing through the corridors. They had heard rumours but never saw the actual thing. A sort of White Cobra was among them, though it would be more avian than they'd ever know. As he was rushing through corridors, he was looking for anywhere he would be out of the sight of the bright red, yellow and green clad individuals of VIPER. He went to the part of the nest he'd never expected to go. The exit.
Upon reaching the exit, he made use of the lighter weight of his suit to the power armoured guards who tried to stop him physically, out-manoeuvring them and escaping through the front door with a blast from all of the suit's weapon systems. He rushed out the open blast doors into something he'd never seen before, natural sunlight.
A big new world (2010)
He was temporarily blinded, completely distracted with the bright light before him, briefly desensitised to his environment. Soon, he was remember why he was out here. He would continue to run, managing to activate the thrusters within his suit as he runs, resulting in the young avian being catapulted into the air unprepared. He was sent several kilometres away and out of control, but he didn't care. He just wanted to be away from everything. Landing like an artillery shell in the dirt, he caused a small crater in a small open area within some woods in what others would identify as the Reichert nature preserve. In a location he didn't recognise and alone, he removed his helmet and leant up against a tree, throwing the helmet away, crying. Given his situation and how he was raised, it shouldn't be too surprising he is in such a state.
White hung around his impact site for several hours before something appeared in the sky. Individuals in brightly coloured outfits were investigating the surrounding area while a bright grey aircraft was coming in to deploy what seemed like soldiers. Were the VIPER forces after him again? He would go to prepare his suit's weapons before he quickly recognised the uniformed men as soldiers of UNTIL and the brightly dressed individuals as 'false heroes' as Garland called them. People that Garland had told him were 'the real bad guys'. The ones he was to defeat and be a 'true hero' to all those around him. However, given the fact that the so called father figure had turned and attacked him, how could he trust this was true? And even more important, would he dare to try it...?
White would slowly try to step out but one of the troopers calls him out, shooting near his position, calling out "I've got the snake, right here!". Snake? He wasn't with them any more. He quickly gets his helmet and puts it on just in case, staying put as the group approaches his position, the multi-coloured individuals too. "Come out of there, hands where we can see 'em!". White complied, although shakily. Coming out into the light, showing his bright white, clearly VIPER designed suit due to its aesthetic details. "I said hands where we can see them!" He raised his hands, showing a single white palm completely clean compared to the partially molten and bloodied plating of his suit around his hand. He was still shaking violently, due to multiple reasons, including his emotional state and the fact it was starting to get dark, and since it was winter, the cold was in without mercy.
One of the brightly dressed individuals stepped forward, pressing one of the soldier's rifles down, causing the rest to partially follow suit, looking to them "Notice something... wrong with them?" he nods, making note of the signs of not even the slightest willingness of fighting back. He was just surrendering. Albeit silently. The 'hero' and the what is assumed to be leader of the forces on site seemed to come to an agreement, they took White in. White accepting the restraints and just going with them. No matter what, it must be better than freezing to death... Right?
White was brought to a maximum security facility under UNTIL control. Due to the fact they could not remove the suit by any means that wouldn't result in killing him, they restrained him with the best materials they had. He was silent, refusing to answer any questions they had, even going so far as to not even moving when questioned by the UNTIL interrogators. The team of heroes that had accompanied the UNTIL forces that took him in were watching. The leader of the group wished to take a try. The interrogators this time took the turn of watching. They felt that the hero would go too soft and wouldn't break him, especially not if their attempts had failed.
"So, how're the restraints treatin' ya?" he asks White. White would look from the corner of his eye, still not looking directly to him. "'Cause you rocketing across the sky kinda set off a lot of people's alarm bells." White still doesn't look to him. "Not the talkative sort are ya'?" White makes a ever so slight nod. "Well, at least you'll answer in some way." White simply stares into space before looking to the interrogative hero. "You made a big ruckus in Millenium when you went flying through the air. Kinda hopin' you'd tell us why that was." "I was leaving..." White responds. "Leaving? Leaving who?" "Them." In the viewing room, the rest of the group was watching "Sounds a tad younger than you'd expect of a VIPER agent, using what seems to be a suit we haven't seen them use, yet." Back in the interrogation room, it continued "Who's them?" the hero inquired. "VIPER and the guy who said he would be my Dad..." those in the interrogation room looked amongst themselves "If he was able to choose to leave on his own free will they must've screwed up their indoctrination with him." the highest rank UNTIL member in the room noted. "I don't want to talk about it." White adds. The officer in the viewing room sighs "Well. He hasn't actually done ANYTHING that we know of, but we can't just let him go. Considering the VIPER connection and all." "So what're we going to do with him?" one of the heroes in the viewing room asks. "Well, we keep an eye on him. That's for darn sure.".
After some time of interrogation, the UNTIL officer presses a combination of buttons on a terminal in the room and the movement restraints holding White in place are released. Upon all leaving the rooms the hero takes the officer to the side "You know he's not even a full adult yet from how he sounds, right?" the officer nods "And he don't sound like one of them brain washed subjects either." "I suggest we try and find a use for him that will help him get adjusted to normal life aga-" Suddenly White lets out a shrill chirping cry "No! You're not taking this off!" the nearby soldiers were trying to remove the VIPER armour from him. "Calm down son, they aren't gonna hurt you." "That's exactly what he said! Then he tried to kill me!" white retorts. The officer sighs and shakes his head, preparing a cigar and lighter "Well, I dunno anything else the VIPER guys told you, but I can tell you son, we have no intention of harming you, given you are the same." White goes quiet, still refusing to have the suit removed, the officer and hero talk amongst each other again "That noise wasn't human. At all." the hero notes "VIPER must be up to genetic engineering..." the officer notes thoughtfully. "What's gonna happen with him if he is a subject of it?" the hero asks. The officer sighs and twirls his cigar, putting it to his lips "Considering that he might be a bio-weapon created by VIPER, we can't risk letting him out. And for all we know he doesn't want that suit removed 'cause it's what keeps him alive. Put two and two together..." the officer states before walking out.
Free as a bird, as it were (2010)
The heroes grouped together, their leader spoke to them "He's gonna be 'euthanised'..." he was clearly unhappy about this "Well, what are we gonna do? What CAN we do? This is UNTIL, they're our friends, right?" a younger member of the group asks "Sometimes your friend can be wrong, and they won't listen to you telling them otherwise..." another member of the group states. Their leader nods "Well, we've got to do somethin'."

Abilities
Natural Abilities
- Plasma-Kinesis: White is the latest in his family line of genetically induced plasma-kinetics, this implies his ability to manipulate and project matter in the so named state of matter through the usage of naturally induced magnetic fields. As long as it is within a three meter (~9 feet 10 inches) range of him, he has a high level of control over any plasma close enough to him. His control weakens as it moves further away, meaning ranged attacks he makes must be simpler, such as beams or a spray of small shards.
- Thermal resistance: It has been shown by his innate ability to produce plasma that his body is capable of resisting insane temperatures, considering the temperatures that matter must obtain to become plasma within the Earth's atmosphere. However, it has also shown that he is capable of withstanding temperatures even higher than he normally puts out, shown by his anger, which infamously raises the temperature of the area around him by radiation.
- Hollow, Avian, Bones: Due to the avian nature of his species, White has hollow bones. Because of this, his body weight is much lighter than it appears to be, allowing him greater speed and agility than most individuals of his size.
Augmentations
- Augmented Nervous-System: Due to the events of his capture and mind control, White has an enhanced nervous system, allowing for near instant reaction times, allowing him to almost literally 'dodge the bullet'. This augmentation also allows him to mentally link with the appropriate electronic hardware, such as his combat suits. Appropriate software in his augmentations allow him to also access other hardware, however, he is inexperienced with its use beyond his suits.
- Augmented brain*: Another trait induced by his past with Ardacorp. White's brain was significantly augmented to allow for much greater degrees of calculation and prediction, thus, allowing him to be greater of a tactician and strategist, if he's paying attention.
[*] = Ability is not recognised conciously by White.
Equipment
Legacy Suit
This is currently the regular attire for White. Most of the time he will be seen in this suit, rather than in casual-wear. The suit, technically, can be considered an artifact. This suit was originally created by the creator species of the Liberavi, the Vakan, approximately three hundred years ago (1700 AD~) in an attempt to create a suit that allows its user control over plasma state substances in a combat environment. Since its creation, alterations were made to its appearance to make it more visually fitting to the family's avian nature.
This suit can be considered 'semi-powered' armour. While it is not 'true' power armour, the suit can still provide adequate protection from damage due to it being made of high-strength polymers which have proven to be capable of taking a pounding on the actual plating. This plating, however, does not have any hidden nature, so when it is hit, the wearer still receives the impact force and will be knocked back, though the impact is reduced as expected.
The suit's power source outputs an electrical charge, so when the outer plating of the suit is broken, and the wiring exposed, an EMP can critically damage the suit's wiring and electronics, resulting in all suit based assistance to White to be disabled. However, due to training, White is over time learning to not rely on his suit for protection and power.
The suit's primary purpose appears to be for high mobility while still being able to take some hits if a mistake is made.
Due to the alien nature of this suit, its full potential is unknown.

VIP-WC-PRT-001 WHITE-COBRA Prototype
This suit White hates to wear. It is the one he was raised to use by a single, now disgraced, VIPER officer. The VIP-WC-PRT-001 (White Cobra suit), was designed with the usage of heavy munitions, high durability and high mobility in mind. It was originally designed with the intent of being one of several competing designs of power armour within the terrorist organisation to serve as their main stay suit. It can safely be said that this suit design failed to meet expectations in the prototyping stage, and only two suits were made. Due to the state of technology at the time, the designs could only be made to be extremely slim, so slim that most humans could not operate the suits.
The suit was recently overhauled by Skarius Snowtalon, so it is much more adapted to the young avian's newer fighting style. Due to the events of a mission alongside Skarius, the suit was utterly destroyed.

Weaknesses
- Strong Magnetic-Fields: Due to the nature of White's ability to manipulate plasma through the usage of his own magnetic fields, strong magnetic interference, or outright stronger magnetic fields can cripple his ability to control any plasma. If said interfering fields are strong enough, they can influence the plasma within his bloodstream, this has the possibility of being lethal as it can force his blood flow to slow or halt.
- Inexperienced: White is young. He is, in some places, not even considered an adult (Even by human standards). Meaning he is liable to making errors and mistakes that some older, more experienced individuals might not. He needs guidance to stop him from making mistakes that might cost him dearly. His lack of experience can be his biggest flaw.
- Guilt Complex: White only became what he is now because of extreme guilt from atrocities he had committed before becoming a 'hero'. Anyone who is aware of his guilt and what he has done in the past can use it to their advantage, as he'll likely become confused with guilt. His guilt has often caused him to be almost suicidal in his heroics, seemingly not interested at times in his own survival.
- Hollow Bones: White may not be human, and may not even be what is considered normal by his species, but he is at least as vulnerable, if not more, to extreme forces upon his body. Due to the hollow nature of his bones, they are much easier to break than that of a human's. Meaning that if he is hit, and hit hard, it could go very badly for him. This is why he'll always be seen wearing fully padded and armoured suits.

The Liberavi Species
|
Summary
The Liberavi are a species of avian humanoids, created by an ancient multiversal race of arachnids, the Vakan. The Liberavi are best recognised by their clear parrot-like faces, with the exception of their distinguishable, single eyed faces. This species, like Earth's various kinds of parrots, come in a large multitude of colours and patterns. They were created by the Vakan originally as both a labour force and a large scale experiment on Earth, allowing them to get as much profit out of the situation as they could.
Creation
The Liberavi were created by one individual hive of Vakan that were bets described as militarist scientists. They did whatever scientific studies and experiments they saw fit to further their technology and their hive. This inevitably entered the field of creating artificial species. The Vakan at some point in time within 3-5 centuries ago made their way to Earth. They had settled themselves a base of operations on the planet and began to study the local carbon based life, which was typically birds of paradise due to the tropical island they had set up on. After gathering genetic samples from various species of avians on the planet they began to work on a lifeform that could do all of their menial tasks for them. A slave race, if you will. And thus, the Liberavi were born, however, they did not have any actual title at the time.
