Copper Hawk is a young heroine native to Millennium City. Having been rescued by Screamin' Eagle at a young age, she had devoted her life to becoming his Sidekick, and served to keep the (slightly unhinged) gunman in check. She now works as a solo hero in Millennium City.

Origins
The Rescue
Twilight Storke was raised to an average family in Millennium City. Born to Harry and Bella Storke shortly after the incident of the Battle of Detroit, her childhood was a slightly troubling pastiche of working around the chaotic reconstruction and guarding of the upcoming metropolis. During this key time, the majority of the upper-city was being refurbished and guarded by superheroes. For her primary education, Twilight was sent to boarding schools to prevent her from being influenced by any of the violent battles that were happening back at home. Of course, all bars were off whenever she came home during a break. Whatever the case, she'd usually spend her summer days watching the news and seeing what deeds the heroes of the city had accomplished. If she was lucky, she could even see some of them first-hand!
Twilight eventually got a really close look at one heroic deed. On an outing to experience the newly-opened skyline restaurant at the Barlowe Building, the Storke's followed their meal with a sight-seeing tour on the building's balcony. Unfortunately, a seemingly spontaneous vandal ended up pushing Twilight off the roof, leaving her to plummet 32 stories to her death. The Vandal, identified as Dennis McPhail, was immediately held guilty for his actions and convicted for attempted murder, and the Barlowe Building Balcony was enclosed to another level. With that said, Twilight was in fact rescued from her death, thanks to the watchful eye of the jetpack-equipped hero, Screamin' Eagle. Perhaps one of the only true rescue missions that he ever carried out, Eagle's rescue of the 7-year old Twilight stuck for a few days as some good press for a traditionally abrasive hero-figure. With Twilight, however, it became a lifelong fixation.
The Storkes realized after this that Millennium City just wasn't safe. The Family decided to move East to the quiet city of Rochester, New York, and Twilight continued her studies locally. Despite the move, her brush with near-death had ignited something in her. She studied her subjects with more vigor than before, driven to become a hero, just like her idol, the Screamin' Eagle.
Application
Roosevelt City, Meanwhile, began to make considerable advancements in the area of weaponry to help the city's law enforcement against super-powered crime. Looking to their local university, the RCPD teamed up to create a new study-plan for any students interested in confidentially designing weaponry and tools that could be used by law enforcement. Twilight, catching wind of this once-in-a-lifetime offer, immediately applied to the Roosevelt City university, and with her impressive grades, quickly made it in. Given a wide variety of focal choices in which to develop crime-fighting tools, Twilight naturally chose the one that most resembled that of her childhood hero: Power Armor.Twilight's armor designs were creative, to say the least. Her biggest project, the Hawk Armor, was developed over a 3-year period at the university as a personal project. Indeed, with its large wings and bronzed finish, many of the university scholars deemed the armor much more a work of art than a proper weapon, and so would probably not be a suitable item to mass-produce. At the same time, the armor wasn't exactly safe to be used by any old person, and several professors brought requests to have the armor dismantled. Twilight, turning down these requests, continued to tweak the armor as it laid dormant inside the university workshop.
During her Junior year at the university, Twilight couldn't take it anymore. Word of some of the criminal hardships of Millennium City were reaching the university, and here she was, stuck at school with a perfectly good crime-fighting tool that she wasn't permitted to use. Deciding in a spontaneous burst, Twilight snuck into the workshop one night and stole her armor, donning it for the first time and using its jets to soar straight to Millennium City within 10 minutes.
Run-In
Storke arrived in Millennium City over West-Side, and promptly began patrolling the streets from above. As fate would have it, Storke ended up having a run-in with the Screamin' Eagle in the sky. Eagle, not recognizing who this woman in bronze armor was, assumed the target was an enemy, and opened fire with his rocket launcher. Storke took the only logical counter-action; seeking to test out her armor's offensive capacities, she let loose with a powerful gust of wind that knocked Eagle clear out of the sky. The impact ended up damaging Eagle's fuel tank, and left him grounded. Not having the proper funds or expertise to repair his armor, Eagle ended up suing Storke.
In court, Storke recognized Eagle, and made her claim that she would not have taken such a rash action had she recognized the Eagle. Remembering his action to rescue the girl, Eagle spoke up for Storke, recognizing her devotion and efforts. Especially after learning of her newfound skills in building power-armor and weapons, Eagle called off the case and adopted Storke as his sidekick.
With Storke officially recognized as a superhero, she took up a fitting name that matched the appearance and capabilities of the armor she had built: The Copper Hawk. Joining with the Screamin' Eagle, the duo became known as the Millennium City Birds of Prey. The Birds of Prey soon became recognized as a formidable and effective crime-fighting force, with Screamin' Eagle providing his battle experience and tactics, and Hawk using her more level-headed approach to prevent collateral damage and, of course, her technical expertise to keep the team's armor in working order.
Eagle's Death
On June 11th, 2013, Hawk and Eagle butted heads with an unknown supervillain in the City Center area - an enigmatic figu̕r͝e - who ruthlessly assaulted the duo. Storke was able to escape with her life, but Eagle took a fatal blow to the chest. Infected beyond repair, Eagle was unable to be treated for his wounds by Storke, and died later that night.
After a week hiatus of the attack, Storke returned to the superhero scene, this time as a solo heroine. As the lone Bird of Prey, she has become more strident and aggressive in her fighting style since Screamin' Eagle's passing.

Copper Hawk is fairly reserved, preferring to learn about complex topics rather than casually speak with other people. However, if any of her friends come to her with problems that need solving, Hawk will be more than willing to lend advice and help. Punctual and organized, Hawk feels an obligation to get things right on the first shot, and she takes special care in keeping others safe when in battle.
Her biggest shortcomings show when she is unable to justify mistakes either she or Eagle has made. As an absolute perfectionist, she can become belligerent if there is a tactical fallacy that she can't explain or if she forgets about important deadlines.
Hawk is a self-proclaimed bookworm. She states that since moving in to Eagle's hideout, the base has gotten at least 12 new bookshelves lining the walls, containing all manner of tactical manuals, physics textbooks, and novels. For all her admiration of Eagle, she has shown a bit of disillusionment after realizing his true nature and how much he actually relies on her efforts.
Combat Specifications
Hawk does keep in fair shape, despite being somewhat heavy-set. In any case, her physical capabilities are not impressive in the least, and in a hand-to-hand battle, her skills can leave a bit to be desired. When factoring in her Hawk Armor, however, Copper Hawk's tactical capabilities increase tenfold. The armor, first and foremost, is equipped with Wings, which, aside from generating lift for gliding and flight, can be rotated rapidly to generate powerful gusts of wind. Capable of generating gusts by either rotating on the user's back (like fanblades) or by making mighty flaps, the Armor's air gusts become a highly potent ranged weapon.
The combined weight of the wings and armor means that using gusts isn't enough for the armor to become airborne. This is where Jet Boots come in. Combining the lift that the wings generate when moving through air with the forward propulsion of the jet boots, the Hawk Armor's aerial movement is maneuverable, efficient, and above all, incredibly fast. At full-throttle, the Hawk Armor can move at a speed of roughly 750 miles per hour; Just under Mach 1.
The Hawk Armor's plating is somewhat light, but not superficial. Thanks to its protection, the user of the Hawk Armor can withstand light gunfire without taking much more than a few bruises. However, the armor doesn't supply any special protection for energy weapons or other unusual attacks.
Copper Hawk is otherwise quite expert in several tactical contexts. Hawk is sure to carry along Repair and Medical Kits for both her armor and Eagle's, enabling her to quickly get even unusual machines getting back into working shape. Though not as skilled in the medical area, her tools do enable her to do some rudimentary cleanup on a battered body.
SOMETHING ELSE
- The 15th level 40 started out as almost pure Force. Later on, she incorporated Wind attacks to back that up.
- This character is pretty unabashedly based off of Twilight Sparkle. Now you can imagine a dystopic duo of a suited screaming soldier fighting alongside a purple pony in power armor.
