Origin
Twenty Three Years ago, SEAM (Sentient Emoting Articulating Machine, Model Number 1840-12) was a created in Detroit in 1991. It is unknown why he was created. The identity of his creator is unknown, and the only clue to how he was made is located in his audio files (A.F.1.00.000). The audio is a 35 second clip of a man running diagnostic on the newly activated SEAM. SEAM was then deactivated and placed in storage for 23 years, until 2014, when a freak electrical storm reactivated him.
History
After being restarted by the electrical storm, SEAM wandered around the city until he found Club Caprice. Inside he recorded hundreds of voices, and since his voice modulator was non-functioning, constructed a type of communication using words spoken by different people.
S.E.R.A.P.H. found him there and repaired his voice, which he began to put to good use immediately. She also repaired most of his hardware and software, a 'fix up'.
Later, she took him to MACE Base, and had him upgraded. He was very thankful for it, and when he was asked to join MACE, he was only too happy to.
After learning about S.E.R.A.P.H. some more, he came to know that she had been infused with a soul, which gave her feelings. This development confused him, and he began to wonder about feelings all the time. He analyzed hundreds of emotions, and eventually developed a want to feel these emotions also.
S.E.R.A.P.H., in an act of kindness, obliged him, and gave him a portion of her soul. Then, she infused him with Nanodroids, which allowed him to 'feel' things, and allowed him to change his appearance slightly.
