So, a little about me:
I'm a transplanted Canadian, living in the U.S., but still a Canadian citizen. I've been into RP, both virtual and tabletop, for about twenty-two years. I've delved into a few different MMOs before CO came along, but have been playing CO since the closed beta. I love a good story, and have formulated a few with my characters over the years, and have had parts in other people's, as well. I spent some time on CORP, but have since drifted away from it. You might see me here and there, but I don't really "mainstream".
Characters
Uh...there's a lot of these, but I'll just put down particularly notable ones in my roster. Feel free to search for others here on the PDB.
Black Corsair aka Elizabeth McAllistair - My main character, as well as my longest and most consistently played. Beth is my absolute favourite, and I love her to death. She started out as my take on how a vampire should be played, after seeing so many others doing things that I felt gave such characters a bad name within the RP community (like feeding in public, telling anyone and everyone what they are, using their mind powers to try and get sex when their own personalities don't cut it... you get my drift). With Elizabeth, she really became less about being a vampire, and more about being a person who happens to be a vampire. She really took off pretty quickly, and soon seemed to develop a mind of her own! Elizabeth has had a number of stories cycle through, many of which ended up being deviously woven together into one long on-going tale. Writing for her page has been more akin to a biographical work haha, and she's come a very long way over the course of about six years of playing her.
Jaylin Skiles aka Captain Jaylin Skiles - Poor Jay... I played her for something like two years while I was taking a break from Beth. She was very different from most of the kinds of characters I like to play; naïve, innocent, so very inexperienced about almost everything, and really a sweet young woman. I say "poor Jay" because the unfortunate girl seemed to run into so much tragedy in her brief human life, and ended up being murdered, to boot.
Villains
Arcanum - So, I'm fond of playing magical, or supernatural characters. Arcanum was my first attempt at trying to play a super villain, which I found really challenging when her moral compass is way off-base from my own. This one was completely off her rocker, and sadistic as all get out. A couple of my characters tangled with her, and she made appearances creating problems for other characters a few times. I finally brought her chapter to a close, however. She'd done more than enough, and the way her story ran due to the events she took part in, I couldn't see a way in which she could possibly be used again. She is officially deceased.
