Gavin Cross is the Watchman, a vigilante who wages his own personal war against crime in Millennium City. As the son of two wealthy socialites, he would eventually inherit his father's company, CrossCorp. When his parents died in an unfortunate car accident, Gavin subsequently acquired his father's wealth and shares. Desperate to run the business like his father, he stumbled upon an old journal hidden in the attic of the family mansion that detailed the corruption that plagued the company for years. Suspicious of the cause of his parents' deaths, Gavin realized he couldn't investigate this further without drawing attention from the board of directors, so he mysteriously vanished the next day. He was legally declared dead as a result of being missing for several years.
Recently, Gavin has miraculously returned to Millennium City and taken full control of CrossCorp. Armed with the curious ability to gracefully slip into and out of social atmospheres with little warning, it is impossible to tell who he really is. No one realizes that the billionaire secretly moonlights as a detective who fights corruption through espionage and investigation. A skilled marksman and martial artist, he favors the bow and his sharp mind to help him carry out his crusade against injustice.
