What it Takes
Here's the things you'll need to get entry into the tournament;
- A team of five people. Build diversity within the team is encouraged, and once a team has entered it may not change a member without disqualification. A team also needs to have a Team Leader; a member responsible for co-operating with the event management and for the behaviour of his/her team mates.
- An entry fee. The Hour of the Wolf tournament has a nominal entry fee of 10 Globals per team member, which is 50 Globals per team. This is a not for profit event, meaning all entry fees will be paid back out to the winners of the tournament upon victory, up to a minimum payout of 500 Globals guaranteed by event management.
- Free time. You need to have enough time to attend the whole event, as it will not stop of be rescheduled if you are required to leave. Your team will either have to fight one person down, or forfeit.
- Warriors Code. This means adhering to the rules set out below and respect for your fellow combatants.
The Wolf's Code
The tournament itself is meant to be a fun, entertaining player versus player event with a small prize to sweeten the deal. What the event management and all concerned would like to avoid is a free-for-all of insults ignorance. To this end, please observe the rules;
- Please respect the event management and follow their direction. The event is being hosted by Ulfheoinn@Ouroboros1988, Seth@Dragonrider4000 and others, they are here to keep order and make sure the event goes ahead until a winner is clear and the prize is won! The fun and safety of all participants is their main concern.
- No abuse of/towards any person involved in the tournament, or more over, anyone. Event management will not tolerate unnecessary insults or harassment of anyone. If your team is found to have broken this rule, or a member of you team has, then they may stand to be disqualified from the tournament, fighting status not with-standing.
- In a duel, anything goes. This includes free use of any device in the game with only one exception; event management has thought long and hard about this and has come to the conclusion that devices are in the game for a reason and the policing of their use is next to impossible in this team vs. team scenario. Banning the use of devices in this situation simply leads to arguments and accusations, most of which are impossible to substantiate or evaluate. The exception to this rule is the use of the Back-up devices such as Backup: Defender or Backup: Kinetic. These devices are not allowed.
- If you have a problem of any kind, take it up with event management. Please report any issues you have in a tell to @Ourobors1988 or @Dragonrider4000 and they will try to help you. Please refrain from simply shouting out in Zone chat, as this is the only place event management can speak to all participants clearly at one time.
