- Nighthawk on Lukan following his defeat to the supervillain
Lukan the Preternatural is a mysterious figure affiliated with the Supercosmic Villain Bobby Creeseman and is among one of the top hand-to-hand fighters currently known, with his combat prowess surpassing even the likes of Rukia of Ruin.
Lukan is considered so strong that among the Creesemanists that have been disclosed by UNTIL, the supervillain is the only Creesemanist to have been classified a Cosmic Threat. Additional eyewitness accounts from several superheroes as well as analysis of his DNA samples reveal that Lukan is human in nature, adding onto the scale of his abilities. To date, Lukan has defeated an uncountable number of well known combatants, superheroes and supervillains alike using his bare hands. Among these combatants include the famous vigilante Nighthawk.
Lukan currently operates under Daon of Corruption, serving as their bodyguard. This affiliation has been one of the reasons why UNTIL has been unable to contain the Herald of Corruption despite the Herald's significantly weaker combat power compared to the other Heralds of Creeseman.
Background
Not much is known of Lukan's background, but from the limited details of the supervillain it can be surmised that Lukan was and still is a human who had somehow achieved a physical state far surpassing his biological limits. At some point, Lukan became affiliated with Creeseman, where the Supercosmic Villain enhanced Lukan to an even more lethal degree.
Lukan is currently affiliated with Daon, serving as their bodyguard. Numerous attempts at tracking and taking down the Herald were attempted, however all were thrwarted by Lukan who has now proven to be able to fight at the same level as a Herald.
With Lukan's growing notoriety, an anonymous bounty was posted by the vigilantes of Millennium City in capturing the supervillain leading to a nation-wide manhunt. However, none were able to capture the Creesemanist, with many even suffering severe injuries as a result of attempting to battle Lukan. Among these vigilantes include Nighthawk, who was outmatched in hand-to-hand combat with the villain, and Thomas Park, who found himself overwhelmed in both strength and speed despite the former using his Overlevel ability to fight at the state of a Level 50 superhero.
To date, Lukan remains undefeated and one of top subordinates of Creeseman, with little to no opposition matching him in strength.
Powers and Abilities
Immense Strength: Lukan possesses monstrously superhuman physical abilities. His punches and kicks are strong enough to generate shockwaves of wind pressure that shatter windows and crush the skulls of his victims using the strikes of his palms. When Lukan fought Ironclad, the Creesemanist was not only strong enough to stop the Dorvalan's sword swing with one hand, but also lift the superhero into the air using the edge of the blade, showing frightening degrees of forearm strength. When Ripper attempted to attack Daon by throwing a four-ton boulder at the Herald, Lukan shattered the rock with a single open palm strike with little to no effort.
Lukan also has enough leg strength to propel himself through powerful leg thrusts, breaking sound barriers from bounding large distances. When battling Psimon, Lukan's kicks were strong enough to completely dissipate the mentalist's ego constructs from their wind pressure alone.
When paired with his hand-to-hand abilities, Lukan's strikes become exponentially more devastating as the supervillain is also aware of pressure points of varying species. Lukan makes full use of his immense physical strength along with varying fighting techniques to maximize the leverage of his strikes, allowing his punches to even leave behind craters in Destreum.
Immense Speed and Reflexes: Lukan is so fast and agile that most are incapable of perceiving the supervillain's movements. When fighting Defender, Nighthawk, Kinetik, and Witchcraft, Lukan was capable of dodging Defender's power armour miniguns, Nighthawk's projectiles and even reacting to Kinetik's attacks, all while being slowed by Witchcraft's Eldritch runes. Lukan's speed was so daunting that, when paired with his leg strength, the supervillain was able to instantly close the distance between himself and Black Fang, a distance of over 40 yards, before even Black Fang's minions could even process what had just happened.
Lukan's reflexes are among one of his most frightening qualities which put him in the upper echelon of hand-to-hand fighters. Capable of perceiving and reacting to attacks down to the microsecond, and coordinating his punches to break through Sapphire's force field barrier, which exhibited very faint hints of structural vulnerabilities.
Immense Endurance: There is currently no perceived limit to Lukan's stamina, as shown when the supervillain killed 56 superheroes nonstop during a blitzkrieg strategy proposed by UNTIL. When pitted against an entire horde of Qliphothic beings in an attempt to imprison the villain, Lukan was strong enough to not only hold out but also dominate the monsters for forty-seven days without rest.
Unparalleled Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Lukan possessed an unfathomable intellect in hand-to-hand combat and martial arts. The supervillain relies on bare-handed strikes, either through punches, open-handed strikes, or kicks, all of which Lukan can execute almost flawlessly. The proficiency demonstrated by Lukan is so great that the supervillain is able to overwhelm the likes of Nightwing, who is the top hand-to-hand combatant in the Champions, and easily defeat all of the Cult of the Red Banner singlehandedly.
